Im restoring a mini at the moment, im very much not a pro. Hope you dont take this as an offensive comment, but its good watching someone else working on similar areas to me who doesnt have all the equipment, massive garages etc etc, more what 'normal' people can do. Promise thats a compliment 🙂

Just a thought I’d put two rear quarter panels on that way it will be easier putting the rear wheel tubs back in place and your mini will look Better in the end

Yeah I watched another youtuber and that's what they did. I'm trying to keep as much original metal as possible which is why I didn't go down that route. The easy option would have been to reshell the whole car!

If you buy a spot weld drill bit you only go through one panel

I've got some but I've never really had much success with them. I find that using a step drill bit is much eadiery. Plus I need the holes for plug welds anyway
