@dwp1393 жыл бұрын
I actually bought a set of Fiberwerx bedsides for my F150, the 6.5 ft instead of the 5.5 ft since I have the longer bed with the extended cab. I will use a different mounting technique and different hardware, however, since I will need more bracing in some areas. Still looks clean and sleek, and I hope mine go on just as nicely.

You guys should fab up the factory fender guard(I think that's what there called) to the new bedsides. That would look so clean. Anyways thanks for the great work guys!

No leaf spring bolts come out that easy every one I have done had to be torched out or cut brackets off frame and start over and a ryoby drill. Isnt a good tool company Ridge or Milwaukee. Is all that's allowed in my shop

why put the limiting straps at so much angle??
@RazorbackGrasshopper7 жыл бұрын
gorsk69 That's the direction of the suspension travel
@inactive674 жыл бұрын
@@RazorbackGrasshopper Yes but the angle is much steeper than the axle arc so why not shorten the go with 16 strap to and follow the arc more closely.. I personally hate how he lays out his straps but this is all relative, he may be able to explain his choice on geometry and why he goes this route I personally am not a fan.

@joshwood448 жыл бұрын
+samuel thibault yeah that's due to the different materials.. steel and plastic painted the same color will never match. You'd have to repaint the whole truck to get it looking closer to the same. If it was me, I'd just get a vinyl wrap once I'd got the truck all built anyways.
