Project GT ep.7 How to Remove a Subaru Twin Turbo

We're back! I've busy over the holiday break. Todays vid we look at how to remove a Subaru twin turbo engine from a Legacy.
This vid is more instructional, and intended to be used as a reference on good tricks on TT engine work, but it should still be entertaining for those just following along. Hopefully you learn something from this that will help you save time and money in future. It's not just for 2nd gens either, this applies to 3rd gens too.

great video. similar minds think alike.....I too use a wood board across the engine bay to rest the air conditioner pump and power steering pump. keep the content coming. thanks for posting !

Nice video, thanks man. This and your thread have been very useful. Where can I get one of those 14 mm wobble sockets? I can't find any online (in nz).

I bought mine from the local snap-on truck. Bout $100 for one, but honestly worth it. If you want a snap-on one, google your local truck, give him a bell, and find out his routine. Local guy to me is Invercargill based and comes up to qtown fortnightly. Other manufacturers do make very similar sockets, koken is the Japanese version of snap-on, hobeca trading sell them, they supply repco’s, so you can go that way. Otherwise teng tools might be a good intermediate brand.
