Indeed. Gutenberg is the biggest, but by no means the only, source of material. And because of some bad lawyering, there’s plenty of pulp SF available out of copyright!

I had heard of Project Gutenberg before. But until this video, I never looked at the site. I will have to make that a site I look to for classic books. I love how you mentioned Brooke Shields when you talked about The Blue Lagoon

I shall have to check my Diary (of a Provincial Lady) to find "Emma Hay." I had no idea at the time who she was meant to represent. Hamilton sounds like G.B.Shaw's type of woman...
