Oh this is so important because it happends so often, I remember in corporate, how often people change positions and then there's a bad handover costing months of time!

I love the concepts presented here - and I can see it being used with managers as they teach their employees how to have difficult conversations - we in theory guide them through conversation and role modeling, role playing, and then hand it over to them to implement, a review of the plan and the follow up will be helpful to move people into accountability and action! Status updates help keep the mentor and mentee connected and continued growth. .... love how you opened my eyes to a new way to view the mentorship role in dissolving workplace conflict!

It always feels so good to hand over a project! But you're so right, there's ongoing support and sometimes even training required for the client. I am really looking forward to assigning tasks to my virtual team, nice to be on the other side of this.

Practical tips that are not really common sensical, because they're not done regularly. Adriana knows her stuff and communicates it in an easy to watch manner.

What are your suggestions during the handover phase if you have several business units that appointed stakeholders, to communicate this from bottom-up? Therefore, those appointed stakeholders have what they need to take back to their VPs of their departments and say "This is done".
@AdrianaGirdler3 жыл бұрын
Yes you need to let all stake holders know , however you need to let the project customer and the project sponsors set up meeting to transfer it over. Once all stakeholders have been notified of project closure, they can then in turn set up a meeting with the VPs of their departments to know it has been completed. You can also announce it in a formalized communication like a newsletter or something of that nature. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching, cheers! .
