I’ve noticed the best British comedy shows only last about 3 or 4 seasons , They end them on a high, that’s why they become iconic , American comedy shows seem to go on far past their best

@@minkyfran8307 Yeh, commented this on another thread but Fawlty Towers from my memory ran out of material and simply ended the show. I think there's a point of diminishing return every sitcom or comedian hits where they simply rehash old tropes. IT crowd stopped before that luckily.
