In 2007 Dad bought me my first car - a 2000 plate K11 Nissan Micra Sport. It was a peach, 24,000 miles from new, top spec, and in amazing condition. I drove it. I used it as my daily driver up until 2015, racking up over 85,000 miles. Then I met Mrs JC and fancied something a bit more ... impressive.
I parked the car in the garage and left it under a cover for 10 years. NOW - fast forward to 2024 - and Dad suggested it was time to get the old girl back on the road for Rustival 2 in September BUT - is it too far gone? Are we wasting our time?
We have got it out of the garage and to dads house BUT it wouldn't idle properly
However! ... It's now fixed and work began on other bits.
In this video which is a bit of a 'ONE FROM THE ARCHIVES' we finish getting the car ready fro Rustival and take it for a bit of a test drive

Been on this flu diet since Christmas week! Haven't even lost much bloomin weight as I'm sitting on my ass all day watching YT vids 😖 Hopefully you get better soon and you can get back to work, don't want Coupland senior Mrs JC or the Inspector going into business for themselves!😂 Micra videos work for me anyway ( and that's a little beauty) as do Proton videos, Doblo and Smart car videos. Theyre all good stuff!

I remember the mass flow air meter going on mine, nissan dealer quoted £600 for the part. Common issue but dealers could not fix it.
