Hi Kasha! I love your spreads and I've been following you for a while and love how you create your layouts, so beautiful! I think it can be very overwhelming to do weekly spreads and especially if you're used to monthly layouts. Weekly can be tough! I'm doing weekly for years and I'm always behind and always trying to catch up. But I try to think of the outcome and the fact that what I DO CREATE is more than enough and it's way better than creating nothing. I've also stepped aside from posting online lately, due to health issues, but I continue to create weekly spreads, one photo and one journaling card at a time. I'm trying to let go of perfection (it's been a tough journey on that!) and just add one picture, one card when I can. Really slow steps but eventually, I'm able to finish layouts and move on to the next ones. I feel that we HAVE TO put life before memory keeping and to be gentle with ourselves when life is too much for us. Keep taking pictures, write when you can, and whatever comes out of these photos and journaling, whether it's a weekly or monthly album, that would be just great. Be gentle with yourself, you're awesome for just trying!

Thank you for sharing and I hope you continue to post at least your photography. I am just learning, but I have gained a lot of inspiration from your photos. Also, I am praying for you on your fertility journey. It can be very heartbreaking. My youngest son and my Daughter-in Love are going through the same.

Thank you for sharing your album and thoughts on memory keeping right now. I am ending my 9x12 PL at the end of May. Im just not motivated to keep going and am planning to document in a 6x8 album as I feel like it!

Love the simplicity of the spreads - love how you did your jounraling what program do you use to make them with the cut marks? I haven't done PL since covid as didn't have much to document then lost my dad so didn't really want to document the shite times if you know what i mean and I used to do weekly but got too far behind. just decided to do monthly instead of daily and I'm starting this year now and going back and doing missing months. we've been trying for a baby for 19 years now and hopefully doing 1 more round of ivf the end of this year and getting married next year. if the ivf doesn't work we giving up as I am 40 next year and getting too old to keep trying - best of luck for your fatality journey x

Sorry to hear about your dad and your fertility struggles. It can be hard during difficult times. I use either Photoshop of Illustrator to print the journal cards
