Project Man Cave - Complete!

It is done! Well, almost. Close enough for government work, anyway! Let's take a look at where all the money went.

I use PC Specialist because of their amazing PC Builder software. It checks the spec of the system you've selected to make sure each component is compatible with everything else. It even saved me money, telling me I didn't need a 1KW PSU and even with a 20% power load margin an 850W PSU would be more than good enough. I can't recommend these guys enough.

Jingles, looks great! My only two suggestions are keeping a compressed air can handy and just once a week spraying out your case as carpet has a nasty reputation with computer cases and dust buildup, and also maybe some risers for the case (if you have the clearance) for the warmer months, as it seems you're going to get lot's of ambient heat from the window (unless of course you have great A/C in that room) the room looks fantastic though :)

One thing to bear in mind with the stormtroopers - be careful the armour doesn't bleach with them exposed to direct sunlight all day. I'd personally keep the curtains / blinds closed in that room.

I got a man cave of my own, but it is no where near as jaws dropping as yours. I got some Work to do. Oh, and every time you let Boo appear I find myself thinking back on the Mighty Ranger Minsc and his killer hamster Boo from the Baldur's Gate computer game. That pair is my favourite PC game heroes still this many years later. Can still find Minsc epic quotes on youtube :)

You should try this game called heroes and generals, it's a WWII game, and what war thunder should be, except no ships, but there is infantry, tanks, planes, all in the same battle! its still in beta so there could be some bugs, but have I mentioned you can ride bicycles into battle? :D

Have they improved the number of servers available, and is there a larger playerbase than there was 6 months ago? I checked it out with friends because we liked the idea, but there were no Australian servers, which meant our best bet was to join a 250+ ping US server.

Hi Jingles, For a good preservation of your new PC i recommend you to buy an UPS and don't plug all that wires to the same power plug, temperature rise and can melt that power plug near your new PC. Excellent Man Cave! I would like to point out that, you probably have bought the wrong shelves for the StarWar and Tank Models. Over time, they will collect dust and because of the awesome details on these models, will make dust cleaning work frustrating. I suggest a glass-type shelve would be more better. Some of them comes with built-in lightings, if you'd shop around Ikea.

850Watt ;_; Waaay too much for just one single gpu :D You couldve saved some money on the PSU :P A 550W dark power from beQuiet with gold plus certification wouldve been enough i think. A single GPU'ed system only takes about 400-500W.

Not true. I oversize mine as well because of the fan program. Usually the fans only get noisy around 80% load. If you pad the watts a bit, you have room for expansion and a much quieter pc.

Anyway, it can pretty much be any kind of typical male stuff, ranging from games to trading cards to weights to sports equipment, what ever floats the users boat.
