Project Mopar: Roger's 1972 Ford Maverick Grabber

Us "old guys" know that before a Maverick was a truck; it was a passenger car, and the Grabber was the special edition which to the best of my non-Ford guy knowledge, came with a 302 cubic inch engine, high back bucket seats, side graphics, and a blacked out rear panel.
Roger shows us his tribute to brother Mike, and tells us a brief family history of his Maverick Grabber. I'm sorry I hurried through this video, the sun was getting to me by the time we recorded this one.
If anybody has more details on Grabbers, such as standard equipment, options and such, please do comment. I've always liked seeing Grabbers back in the day. Not a Mustang!

Great Maverick I’ve seen it at a few. Shows, nice and clean and always attracts a crowd.

Right!?! That's what I was thinking. My grandfather also had a Maverick, but it wasn't a Grabber. That thing would roast the tire for a block. Not sure how I know this....

Thanks for doing the piece on my family’s Maverick , it’s Roger not Ralph by the way, lol. Local car, bought in San Jose from the Ford dealer on 1st St. by grandpa in 1972, then passed on to my brother for 6 years and I’ve had it for the last 3.
