Great video. I agree with you. Just got a bike with bassani pipes. Basically straight trough but with similar fish scale kind of baffle you showed. Obnoxious is the word! Gone have a crack at some alternatives. Thanks!

Just ordered a Bullet Cam for my "306" 302 bored out thirty over. I'm excited! It had a basic stock cam for an automatic. I wanted a drivable/trackable spicy 5 speed. Gonna be a few weeks for them to grind it. TOTALLY STOKED! Project Stang! LOL

You mentioned KYB shocks. I'm about to refurbish the front suspension on my 69 GTX. I'm seeing like $35 shocks to $150 shocks. I have no idea what to buy. What would you recommend???
@Project-Mopar
@Project-Mopar 7 күн бұрын
There's better shocks than KYB, but you are going to pay for them. My opinion is that KYB offers a nice stiff shock for the money. If you can afford high end shocks, then by all means get them. If you're building a budget driver, go with KYB.

Nice car - I've had my '64 273 auto 'Cuda since '86; built in the LA plant, it's been out east since the early '80's. It was YY1 Medium Beige Poly but I painted it Ruby with the black stripe in '90. I've subscribed so I'll be following along.

I really like your Barracuda just as it is. Once you add paint it’s just another over restored looking classic. Just give it a good wash and enjoy it! My 68 Barracuda was painted in 1990 and I like the way it has aged 34 years later and lost that new paint lustre. BTW- Your car sounds great and doesn’t need headers in my opinion but that’s your call.

I agree. It looks like hell going down the road, especially all dirty. It's funny to look at people trying to figure out what it is at the stop lights.

I would like to know how does the exhaust fit on the drivers side. Is that from the 340 or something made to fit. I have a 63 valiant 273

Not easy. Yes, those are 340 exhaust manifolds. I replaced the steering slip yolk with a universal joint, and then had a custom head pipe made.

Yes the motor clears no problem. You'd have to go back to my K member video because I don't remember the year. I believe it's a '68 V8 K member.

@@Project-Mopar Thanks very much bro, I appreciate u taking the time to reply. Update for me - The scuttle butt at "A bodies only" is that the k-member doesn't matter if it's a 6 or 8. And the manufacturer doesn't specify either, so, I think that's probably true. Thought I'd share that for anyone else who watches your post and might ask about it. Have a great day, Dave

Hello, I have a 1966 Dodge Coronet with a 273 engine, I am changing it for a 360 magnum, the oil pan does not allow the engine to enter, it is very large, do you know if I can put the pan from 273 to 360, will it be okay?

I had a '64 GMC 4x4 that i recently sold, only option was a 4 speed and deluxe heater. It was a South Dakota farm truck and only had 36,000 miles. The interior color is called Fawn and every GM truck from 1960 (maybe before) to 1966 was this color inside. In '67-'68, base models had this color, but other colors were available on higher trims.

I had a '68 Barracuda convertible with the 225 and console automatic. I did a similar suspension upgrade, adding a complete setup from a wrecked '69 383 Cuda with disc brakes and Koni shocks. I put the super six 2 bbl setup on it, using a carb from a '68 318. Much more responsive than the smog carb. That car was a blast to drive!

My dad had a pea green 68 four door in the early to mid 70's, 3 on the tree standard transmission with no options other than power brakes. My dad also had the 69 Dodge Dart slant 6 with auto (larger 6 cyl). He preferred the smaller 6 for economy. Great cars. They last forever (Toyota and Honda did not have anything on these cars for being dependable, low maintenance, long life cars).
