Cashed in my chips on a 2004 TD5 Defender (they've gone crazily up in value in Ireland and UK) that I spent a few years setting up for off roading. Bought a 3.2 diesel one of these not for off-road work but just transporting my German Shepherd dogs in to the local forestry. How UTTERLY SHIT it is at any kind of soft off roading has blown my mind..... 😮 I'm pretty experienced and reasonably mechanically minded having grown up on a farm - never really driven lots of cars actually - always in some kind of jeep but although admittedly very cheap and a totally stock SWB paj3 - it's totally crap! 😢 do I need to learn some hidden secrets or something about how to use it?
