classic rally is all about perfection and planning. it's great for older cars that arent 700hp with all the gadgets that make modern rally cars literal rocketships shooting flames. an absolutely incredible experience, and considering the field, coming in above 33% of the field, first time out, that's a job well done! that old 280S did a great job, the build was excellent, he looked awesome! good driving from an almost-racing-driver, and Karl-Heinz was top shelf as the navigator AND mechanic! i do hope that this was one of his most memorable experiences as a Mercedes tech, because i know it would be one of mine! well done lads

I've had a few of the old upright headlamp cars of various models and loved every single one of them, currently drive a W210 E55 estate car, totally different experience but still bags of character and very "Mercedes". Classic rallies beyond my budget but always awesome to watch the smiles and the scenery in vidoes.
