Project RX7 final walkaround!

A walk around the Rx7 and everything that has been done. A few lessons that I learned along the way.

if your concerned about safety you could also relocate the clutch interlock switch which prevents the starter from turning the engine over unless the clutch is depressed. you dont even have to rewire the switch, theres enough length in the stock wiring to glue it under the dash where its in reach and out of sight!

PLEASE replace your radiator. Yours looks original, and the cars are getting almost 30 years now. The plastic end tanks tend to let go with very little warning. You don't want to be caught driving around when it fails. Aftermarket radiators should be a must for those running original rads. These cars need all the help they can get in terms of cooling. Koyo makes a very nice drop-in replacement for the money. 5-beeps on steering wheel replacement means you did not engage the turn signal cancel ring properly. There are two position "dowels" that should fit into holes in your hub adapter! If your hub adapter does not have these holes, get a better one!

yea a fuel pump switch for car safty.... and flooding lets not sugar coat it. do yourself a fav. and put a ground strap kit (like 5or6 8guage wires from battery to body and motor. ) the fc and fd both need this really.

+David Girod Adding more grounds is always a good idea for almost any motor! The older WRX's will have a noticeably smother idle with a few ground wires. You would think the OEM would catch on.

You should fabricate a rear diffuser since (1) you want a skid plate for your fuel cell anyway and (2) you already know how they work!
