Are there any producers you would want who don't primarily write songs in Japanese? CircusP and Kira are the only ones I can really think of for whom it might actually happen, but my ultimate pipe dream never-gonna-happen wish is Ferry. If they even got a song in the game as Virtual Singer, let alone covered, let alone COMMISSIONED, I would be shocked, but that doesn't stop me wanting it. Their style would best suit VBS (Parties Are For Losers and Occam's Razor in particular give me VBS vibes), though some of their spookier, more melancholy works like Samara 1921 or The Mill could be interesting for N25.

They started commissioning lesser known producers (the most famous being Live-P and Kashii Moimi) for VS only songs. If we’re being realists I could see them maybe expanding out to western producers (KIRA, Circus, and Crusher feeling the most likely) in the same way to have more exciting EN server timed exclusives. KIRA having recently done a Love Live song makes him the most likely to get a comm that’s not VS only. At the very least I hope GETCHA and/or MONSTER can get covers. I’m still bummed Mafuyu didn’t get to sing Copycat.

my favorites are re.q and kyoe, kind of obscure and sometimes private their songs but they're pretty good, especially kyoe kyoe uses anri and miku eng a lot, and has a more 'old-school vocarock' style, softer vocals and overall amazing lyrics. if you like JIN, then you'd probably like this. lots of Neru elements too. one of my favorite vocaPs. re.q is,,, well , to be perfectly fair, re.q is re.q. you'd probably find more of her instrumentals and covers online than anything. she used to make vocaP songs a lot back in 2021-2022 but they've been either completely wiped or left in some rando's backup drive. she's worth checking out, if you're willing to wait for her to get back in her voca phase. TONE is another good one. they use eleanor forte and make pretty good songs. if you like chouchou you might like TONE, but TONE has a very unique brand, unlike most vocaloid songs. tart also has really good ferry-style songs. i think tart is friends with ferry. i really like their songs, it was very good to listen to. they mostly use synthvs. awipan also makes good songs. i'd say they have a more 'synth-style' song. they make pretty good stuff with synthv too. KAFKA makes original songs, mvs, and other things. they have a breakcore style thats unique in the vocaloid community. their art style is nice. like re.q, i'm pretty sure some of their works are archived, though i havent checked to confirm it yet. that's most of the ones i know in the obscure eng corner. some of them are bilingual, though. so please check them out!!!

We’re so severely lacking in inabakumori that I really want all of those things all close together (maybe even treated as a collab). I also adore SLAVE.V-V-R, easily my favorite vocaP. We need more than just Hellfire (tho Hellfire with a 3DMV was a great start).

Ichika - Hihumi Hihumi tunes with a lot of vibrato, which fits Ichika's singing style Saki - Chouchou-P agree with the video Honami - MI8K or keeno keeno writes many ballads, which Honami's tender voice would sound angelic over. MI8K has amazing melodies which she also does really well Shiho - YM I agree with the video Minori - Pedestrian Pedestrian's vocals are soft and the arrangements are usually light and delicate Haruka - tilt-six Haven't heard anything new from tilt-six in a long time but SIMPLE SICK and Electro Saturator are good models Airi - you're probably right about doriko Shizuku - MIMI MIMI's piano is airy and the instruments are similarly floaty like Shizuku's voice Kohane - youman Kohane has incredible control over her vibrato and grace notes which a musically challenging song like youman's demands An - Kanna Tateisu Limbo and IFIDO are perfect models for this Akito - STEAKA Akito is intense just like STEAKA's drops Toya - john/TOOBOE Toya's voice kinda sounds like john/TOOBOE's a little, plus the gentle techno sounds of his older music fits Toya's airy voice Tsukasa - SLAVE-V-V-R SLAVE-V-V-R incorporates a lot of jazz and piano into his music which is already shown to fit Tsukasa Emu - muship muship uses a lot of colorful sounds that make the songs sound bright Nene - blues Hacking the spirit and Burning Dance are great examples Rui - Kuriyama Yuri/Van De Shop (or Nem) I think the live clarinet, fiddle, etc. sounds of Van De Shop's electro-swing songs are almost akin to a pit orchestra, which fits the theater troupe theme of Wonderlands×Showtime Kanade - r-906 r-906 typically tunes Miku to sound robotic and wispy, which I feel Kanade can emulate Mafuyu - Nakiso Nakiso's songs have a late-at-night vibe to them, and the lyrics are mostly dark. Dokushite Choudai is a good model Ena - TaKU.K Hedonist's Happy Dinner is a good model I think but I don't really care about Ena Mizuki - Hiiragi Kirai Hiiragi Kirai does darker electro-swing songs with flower, who has a similar voice type to Mizuki. Also Bocca Della Verità fit Mizuki quite well already

(and for Utsu-P to get a song ingame, still holding out for a AkiToya Living Ghost is Alive cover) Also ive never heard of them before this but im fully onboard getting a Kanon69 Rui comission. (the two songs you showed seemed to be about villains/villain esque characters, which fits since Rui generally plays those types in WxSs shows) Aside from those two the 2 other producers i really wanna see do a comission are Last Note (Ichika and Saki would be great fits for their style, and depending on how Setsuna Trip turns out maybe Minori and Airi too) and Maretu. (Shiho, Akito or Mafuyu would be fantastic, depends on if the song leans more towards heavy metal or chiptune. Also add Magical Doctor and White Happy pls and thanks) Id also love to see a EN producer like Circus-P or KIRA get to compose something for the EN servers anniversary.

My main responses to this, otherwise it’s general nodding. 1. Yeah Toya x wotaku actually feels very possible tbh. Like I legit see wotaku going VBS more than Niigo. They’re a shoe-in eventually tho so only time will tell. 2. I forgot about Re:nG- so true tho! 3. Check out Rrrrafflesia if you haven’t- its growls are *minimal* (really briefly only at the end- otherwise what’s there isn’t heavier than USSEEWA’s vocals) but still feels very Utsu-P. He can “tone it down” so to say while maintaining his style. I throughly believe in his ability to nail it. Also, iirc, he tweeted about Sekai recently so my conspiracy brain has me hoping he’s working on something. Also I feel like Kikuo is more unhinged than angry- that’s the follow-up to the anger ideally. 4. r-906 feels so VBS to me lol. I understand the desire for Nem for WxS, but I crave something unexpected more.
