At last, we get some time on our new project! Its been sat for a couple of months and its not fared well. Today it gets new fuel lines and a carb clean amongst other jobs.

hahahaaaa Bob just needed a drink. oh well, some good maintenance done. i'm new to flat beds. i'm wondering what the space is between the floor/engine lid and the flatbed. does that go all the way to the cab? seems like a massive waste of space? does the flatbed come off, to get to the rusty floor?

Enjoyed the video. As you were going around the van listing the bits to fix on it, you didn't seem remotely negative or show any frustration. Taking on project vehicles can at times require extra motivation and sometimes you can get to breaking point with the vehicle. A future video on how you take on a project and the highs and lows would be great, as you clearly have a great attitude for projects. Looking forward to watching the updates on the doka.

Thanks Steve. The reason it was clacky is due to is hydraulic lifters. They are known to be noisy if left for a period.

BTW , your fuel tank might have got that shape due to a blocked breather ( although as it isn't properly bolted in anything is possible )
