Great job, India! Now if only we could get the US to stop protecting regional monopolies on internet service in the US, maybe we'll also get fiber here. The awful FCC people put in place in 2017 by Trump after the current election have been allowing those companies to do whatever they want ...

Probably store solar power on batteries? The issue might be foggy or smoky days when the optical signal is not able to reach across the distances, though different light wavelengths are affected less or more by these phenomena.

Much before the people in these areas get services which improve health or education they will get social media...do the math

Internet is enough to get better health and education now. We have got Huge funding into edtech sector last year and there are many online doctor consulting apps. A mobile with internet and money in pocket can get them what ever they want now.

They will get access to the ever growing collective knowledge of humanity. There is more to the internet than social media :/
@gaswhole2 жыл бұрын
@@hampTC Sure there is more to the internet than social media, just as there is more to TV than saas bahu. same story here sadly compare the growth of the company Facebook to any medical or educational service. How old is Facebook (16) and how big its become. Zuck is worth $140 billion. The pandemic has shown that there are next to no public education resources online for poor students. The internet hasn't given people access to anything but has given companies access to poor people, the fortune at the bottom of the pyramid
@SanjayRamaswamyWolvie2 жыл бұрын
@@gaswhole It is not about poor or rich. It is about hospital availability. For now, people can use Practo and other online consulting apps for 200/- rs per session if they want a private doctor or If govt wants to intervene a Govt Doctor sitting in a city can talk to people in tribal areas and prescribe medicines which can be delivered by drones or RMP or India Post. Tech just helps us, But our intention to help each other is the important thing here
