Project Tahoe Episode 2: LED Headlight Upgrade

After owning the Tahoe for a bit I decided to tackle one of its shortcomings: the lighting situation. The halogens in the headlights just aren't shining as bright anymore and the headlight lenses are a hazy mess. In this video, I swap out the housings for a new clear lens set, as well as add a set of Auxbeam P10 LED Headlight bulbs and finally, an LED flasher module to stop the hyperflash without needing resistors.

Hey man. You should know that aftermarket LED bulbs in halogen bulb housings are technically illegal for on road use. I’m sure no one would ever know if you just ran them anyway as long as you aim them properly, but I chose to go with a DOT approved sealed beam LED solution for my car because I wanted to make 100% sure I’m not blinding oncoming traffic. Also because, god forbid, if I hit someone at night and their attorney found out my headlights were illegal… sounds like prime lawsuit material.
