Project TMB Episode 16: Installing the Engine

Finally! Everything is buttoned up and torqued down, it is time to install the drivetrain back into the car! Before I set the engine back down into the chassis, I installed a set of motor mounts from AWR Racing. Phase one of this project is done!

this stage is so tough, because it feels so close yet so far. You want to hear it fire up for the first time and even more, drive it!

It is really tough! Thankfully I can't rush through anything because of all the wiring work and turbo setup, etc.. but I really want to start it!

Great video. what sort of power do you think you'll be shooting for eventually?

300 HP to the wheels. That will put me right about the point where the 5 speed can't hold the power. If (when most likely) the 5 speed breaks I will look into a BMW ZF 5 speed swap from K-Miata.
