Just came across your channel and i love it, youve taken some great inspiration from Bad Obsession Motorsport (or if by sheer coincidence, i would highly recommend them). Dont own a 4wd, and work on much less complex machines, but love this series none-the-less. great work mate, keep it up! :D

nice video love the air tank in tray frame idea. also exhaust nuts are supposed to be tight, they are slightly squashed so they don't vibrate off!

What did he mean by built in? Was the tubing full of compressed air?
@whiskyyy22637 жыл бұрын
ye, instead of wasting space on a actual tank he used the frame of the tray. very smart and creative

Tip: Look at the Garrett gt3782va & gt3788va commonly found the 6.0l and newer powerstroke. These are quite big VNT turbos. Bought my self a gt3782va busted turbo cheap on ebay and rebuilded it, to use on my 12H-T. You also have the Holset HX55v VGT turbo. This one are also quite large turbo that utilizes vgt instead of vnt, but they both have roughly the same effect.

They're huge! The larger single I was considering was a GT2260V. Got a build thread or something on your 12H-T with a GT3782VA? I'd be interested to see that.

Great vid I've watched like 5 times, question with the tray; how do you prevent it leaking/ general damage that might allow air to escape

Hey mate just out of curiosity what vnt turbo did you put on the rd28, in the photo it looks to have a t25 flange rear housing and bolts straight to the exhaust manifold? I've just spent to months modifying everything in sight to get a zd30 gt2052v on my rd28 by using gu manifolds and an adaptor with 45 degree steam pipe etc but this turbo looks to just bolt straight on?
