In today's video I embark on a new series of videos consisting of building, painting and collecting a World Eaters army. In this first episode, I take this first batch of models up to a battle ready standard.

I'd suggest using a larger brush for that base washing step. It's amazing how just increasing the size of the brush can make that wash step so much faster. Some great progress here in one video, dude!

ProAcryl Satin Black is what you want for your rims, it's fantastic. I was going to try going from Dark Burgundy to Red Oxide to Red Orange for the highlights (all ProAcryl), so it was nice to see a comparison

5:20 Vallejo model color black 70.950 is probably the best black paint, where pro acrylic bold titanium white is the best white paint-not that you’d rim your bases in white.

This is awesome, man! Was wondering if you could explain a bit more of the paint choice for the base. What exactly is the nuln oil? Never heard of it before. Do you generally do a lot of washes on top of the paint. Also, what brand is that airbrush?! I have a tank/compressor, but something like that would be super useful!

@@Sbenjamin2190 hey, great questions! The grey bases are meant to represent more of a rocky terrain/urban debris. Nuln Oil is a very thin, blackish paint from Games Workshop that acts as a tool to add dark shading to the models quickly. That’s why it’s called a “shade” paint. You can apply it straight to just the shadowy areas (ei. between plates of armor, folds, wrinkles, etc.) or to the entire surface to give it more of an oily/grimy look. The airbrush brand is called Autolock. I bought it from Amazon and it came with everything I need for super cheap including the portable compressor. I’m not too familiar with airbrushes but I know the portable compressor doesn’t work with all airbrushes. I don’t know what that means for the airbrush working with other compressors though.
