At least Strider Hiryu gets the idea; attack while they're (Ouma) not ready. Of course, curiosity almost always kills the cat...or in this case, a werefox and a wererabbit. One thing I see about Byaku Shin...her Hellbolt is a 1-attack kill...IF YOU GET STUNNED (or turn your back to her). Nullifying those two things can certainly be a great boon here, and if you get a back attack on her, make it count (I just beat the game 4 days ago and I had Ciel/Nana attack and before getting wiped out, they took about 65% of Byaku Shin's HP, or 260,000). It's amazing how much damage back attacks (and even side attacks) can do when used in the right circumstances. Good playthrough overall, Desilent.

Hiryu and Hotsuma get the final blow! And before that you used Inchiro's skill to help them! And I learned the lesson of the story: Cross attacks don't matter! Only criticals!

Well, I wouldn't say that cross-hits don't matter at all. If you need to build up enough meter to use a high-level super attack fast, use cross-hits while attacking preferably the weaker enemies. The biggest lesson is to never have your six (back) facing the enemy. Otherwise they can OHKO your strongest teams, none more so than Nine Nine and Byaku Shin.

Alternate title: Alice In Hundred God Land. This is one of those fights where nothing makes sense. The Two-Two's should be taking a lot more damage than Hundred God was in this battle.

+Gregory Weagle Yeah, the stats of "Two Two" seem a bit inconsistent. Even if you hit them from the side, they seem to tank everything.

I still don't get while they waited till now to fill us in on that detail (Should've done it during Endless Frontier), personally I think if their is a PxZ 3 the new villain needs to be original.

They did introduce things in those games, heck that's when Saya's two main chronies talked for the first time(I don't know if they had their names in NxC but they never spoke), but it was never explained how she was revived. The only thing I can think of is that Reiji shot her atop Tron Bonne's ship as it was entering the atmosphere which as it turned out as a catalyst needed to kickstart 99, after the battle Reiji shot her again, she might have used that bullet's energy to hang on but I don't know...

Deth Troy I was reading one of the posts here - www.gamefaqs.com/boards/667255-project-x-zone/66838964 and I can kind of agree with it. We could probably also thank 99's broken pieces for this as well, just scanning a few of them in chapter 26 almost wrecked the dragonturtle completely. Then we see Byaku Shin made it's huge body with just 2 of those pieces, I'd say we've got a decent grasp on their absurd power. It could be just fan service, but now that we have what we have laid out, I'd say they've almost got a reasonable...uh reason for these happenings with Saya.

Attack from the sides or the back and have some good equipment, as well as buffing individual attacks in the main menu.

Saya's basically been occupying cloned bodies for awhile. There's been a few theories about it since "Super Robot Wars OG Saga Endless frontier" and its sequel. Her, Reiji, Xiaomu were in both of those games, so PXZ2 is the 5th game they've appeared in.

Do you stop have to worry about the platforms when saya and the others come down?

The only enemies you gotta worry about are the ones that Byakushin spawns (and whoever originally spawned at the start of the chapter, unless you already dealt with them). It's just them going after the platforms at that point. You can leave a few units behind and be ok. Since you have access to all units on this stage, put whoever you want on the defensive, plus you can always make good use of the quick save if you need to double back on anything.
