Still to this very day people are flippin over Sonic, Pacman, and Classic Megaman not being in the game. I know why they didn't add them it's because they would over shadow the other characters. And they were focusing on the human like characters. They didn't want to add the mascots because no one would care about the other characters. Just be glad we got a crossover like this and stop asking for more and more.

For those saying or complaining about them NOT knowing who some or most of the people are in this game, just do a little. just a little research about them. I've played the demo on this game for the 3DS, and its awesome. Seamless gameplay, and lots of moving parts. People please apply yourself to know more about the fighters/characters and you'll create a better appreciation for this game. Thanks !!

They do, if I'm correct on my assumptions, it's a turn based juggling combat system. If it works in anyway like SRT OG Saga Endless Frontier, basically you set up a list of moves your characters will go through with a press of a button, you put the moves in the correct order and time your button presses right to keep the enemy juggled, if they hit the ground it could end your turn instantly. The enemy does the same to you, but they hardly ever screw up juggling your guys so. Yeah.

They could bump up the challenge and mechanics a bit, but for the most part I agree with you. This isn't the kind of game you buy for the challenging gameplay, you buy it for the arsenal of badassery that it brings. Seeing all these awesome characters come together and do some crazy looking badass combos WITH other characters who they have NEVER interacted with before is why you would play this game. Definitely a good game and worth the pickup... Heck, it's worth it to get a 3DS JUST for this.

Also, special skills don't need juggling, they just happen after you tell your guys to use them, there's no escaping those so it's like watching a cutscene of your characters beating the shit out of a target.

If they do touch the ground sometimes the enemy forces the end of your turn, at which point they may or may not counterattack. Since the game is a turn-based RPG, the counterattack is in addition to the enemy attacks that they do on their own turn.

Not only are Reiji, Xiaomu, and Saya in it, you might have noticed Haken and Kaguya from Endless Frontier (which is where the previous three ended up after NxC) in there as well.

Still, it would've been awesome to see Sonic and Shadow doing high-speed attacks, while using chaos blast/chaos control to beat the crap out the opponents. They also could've added Vergil from Devil May Cry as well, teaming up with his brother, they would obliterate everything. This game was mostly about crossover fan service, might put everything they got right?

Well not all of the characters were actually realeased out of Japan seeing as there are characters from Senjou no Valkyria 3, Valkyrie no Bōken: Toki no Kagi Densetsu & Namco X Capcom. But seeing Harada from BN actually proposing localizing this game kinda gives me some hope for seeing it here.

They could include many characters as DLC since the 3DS can handle having DLC. So we can have a hopes still high for any character that we want that they have not included.

this is looking really good! i heard about this from screwattack, and i was like "hmm, this sounds good. i'll check it out." but just from 1 minute into the trailer i said to myself "i might get a 3DS just because of this." because i dont like buying a new system if my current one is not broken or on the verge of it. but i might just make and exception for this. i can tell that this going to be great game regardless. they way they are doing it fantastic. a turn based tactics game, the free roam

Your first crossover game? There's been a bunch of these types of games before like Super Robot Wars. Hell, Namco x Capcom for the PS2 is probably the first crossover that's similar to PxZ and that was released 7 years ago. Fan service all around.

Nintendo owns something like 80% Monolith, the game's developer. With Namco owning the other 20%. Which is the main reason why every "Namco X" game has been Nintendo exclusive since the first. Their was also a Spin-off for the the original DS. You do bring up a good point though. Maybe they're waiting for the Wii U installment?

If this game gets a sequel (which seems likely with all the hype going towards it which would lead to good sales which would lead to a sequel), there are some characters I'd really like to be in it. First and foremost, as you can guess, would be Sonic, possibly paired with Shadow or Tails. They've had enough games to build up a good moveset for the game.

No, the game is from the mid nineties, the first Die Hard movie is from 1988. Anyway I believe that since Dynamite Deka was made into an official Die Hard game, they joke even more on making the character look like Willis.

So this is a revamped Namco x Capcom that was released on the PS2 in Japan a couple of years back. I loved that game even though i couldn't understand any text or what was being said. I hope for a Vita release.

I think the reason Sonic and Pac-man aren't in the game is because they wanted to focus on human like characters. Ever notice that I thought it was interesting. All of the characters are (or have the body shape of) humans

I think this game will be awesome I'm not an uber fan of any of the three companies and the characters they hail from but I know of most of them, tbh it looks really awesome it's like they realized that fighting games on a handheld is difficult so combat is broken into single button combos with using the 3DS's slider like you would a fighting stick to preform more powerful movies with an overlay of a Strategy RPG on top for the 3DS I think this will be great.

So I just read on IGN.com that Project X Zone WILL be getting a US localization. .....I shouted so loud that I think all my neighbors heard me. And I think my dog is a little worried about my sanity, because I was holding him up shouting "Heathcliff! Heathie! Project X Zone is coming to America!!!", while the look on his face was clearly "Kay, that's great, you can put me down now." Seriously, I can't remember how long it's been since I've been this excited for a game release.

People I have good news! Katsuhiro Karada, the producer of the Tekken series, has revealed on Twitter that he is pushing to get this game localized. He stated that "I proposed localization of Project X Zone." and went on to say that the company has "Not decided yet, but It will be realized if I continue proposing." This means that the hopes to get Project X Zone localized is on the rise. Like this so everyone can see!

this game is like turn based , when its ur turn u move ur characters on the battle field to attack them and chain combos together , after u finsh ur turn , they move on the battlefield and attack u and u cant defend its like other strategy RPGS( Ex:Fire Emblem) but u chain combos and stuff.

Because they only wanted human-like characters in the game. Plus, this was mainly intended for the Japanses audience, some of the characters in the game are most likely more popular in Japan than they are elsewhere.

Honestly, there's hardly any strategy at all. Here's how this game goes: Attack the enemy, kill said enemy if not a boss. Use healing items/skills when hurt. Use super moves against harder/boss enemies. Later, use multi attacks to quicken the killing pace.

To everyone complaining that Sonic isn't in this, think about this for a second. Would he really be suitable for this game? He wouldn't match the anime type theme the character design has. Plus, he doesn't have much going for him for these insane attacks. This game will be fine without him, so all you Sonic fanboys need to stop getting pissed over one character.

Dissidia is a fighting game and Kingdom Hearts is an action RPG. neither of them are anything close to this. They don't use grids to move, and you typically only use one character while fighting.
