Wow Jordan! You did an Amazing job of not only making Desiree feel like she didn't miss anything; You made us All feel like we were right there with you and explaining things we would not even have known to ask. You obviously took the time to listen and educate yourself so you could narrate on your own rather than just filming a tour guide the whole time. Great job. Be sure to send the Tourism Board a copy ;-)

Great episode? I've been following you guys for about a year, and you have really grown in your abilities to craft entertaining and informative video content. Very impressed with the musical component, as well. I've been to the Rio and Antigua, so really enjoyed seeing it through your eyes (and lenses). So bummed that we skipped the hot springs do to fatique/illness (grrrr) that was beautiful and you obviously had a blast with your new mates. and fellow cruisers. Really like Jordan's "museum voice", and the historical overview, especially the Mayan artisans impact on the religious iconography that were being forced upon them. We just got back from sailing with some friends in the San Blas and traipsing around Panama for a few weeks. Thought of you both while snorkeling/free diving and reveling in the beauty of those cays. caught quite a few fish on line, but nada with the speargun (was looking for my "giant permit" or first anything for me). You've been very inspirational and your project is affecting a lot of people in a very positive way. Thank you. Guess I need to get off my duff and support you on Patreon or send out some much needed shwag or boatery bits. Oh, really got a kick out of seeing Jordan wedged into tuk-tuk. Been there, done that many times, and I'm only 6'. Sooo comfy! I'm really looking forward to your upcoming adventure at Tikal and the NE regions nearer to the Rio.. Don't miss Yaxha ruins near Flores and the lake. We had a great time staying at Alice in El Remate (carved out of the jungle by a sweet belgian couple). Good place to hub out of, they will arrange transport into the parks, the setting is awesome, the food is incredible, great hiking at a local reserva and paddling around the lake. Highly recommended! and avoid the high priced fees for lodging in Tikal (although that's got some plusses (like sunrise on a pyramid!), but $$$$, mmmm yikes. We should PM for more on all that and other regional pearls. We've spent a lot of our wimpy vacation allotments (typical US) in Central and South America over the years so happy to pass on what bits of wisdom through experience. (How best to PM? I guess on the website, will check it out) Cheers, RE

Howdy Ron! Thank you so much for this amazing comment! It means so much to us that you’ve digging our content and that you can see the improvement over the years ;) Sorry to hear you weren’t able to check out the hot springs- if you’re ever in the area, be sure to go UNDER the waterfall. We didn’t know about it until some locals showed us. Glad to hear you’re enjoying Jordan’s though- I also enjoy seeing the world through his eyes. He makes history fun! Sounds like you had a blast in Panama- we can’t wait to get out there. We’re honored that you thought of us while you were out adventuring! Thanks for your tips re: Guatemala. We’re always excited to get the scoop on new places! The best way to get a fast response from us is to become a Patron, but you can always send us a message on our facebook page here: web.facebook.com/TheProjectAtticus and we try our best to keep up! Thanks again for watching and for sharing your excitement with us! It’s contagious! -Desiree

That is the best info on Guatemala in a nutshell. Very concise and good info. I think every Myan would be proud of the information you gave. I really hope the government will actually get rid of the problems there so people don't have to leave. Several have made it to Texas to work and are great people. Seems they either got into gangs or punished. Way out of control there. Great people. Thanks.

When ya gotta pee, ya gotta pee. What's the temperature there in Rio? You keep saying it's very hot. The view in Honduras was breathtaking. 1100 earthquakes a year??? Dayammmm! That's like a little more than three a DAY!!! I can only imagine what sex is like there..."The Earth moved." LOL The architecture in Antigua is incredible. Thanks so much for the tour. You teach as much as you entertain, and your teaching is also entertaining, J. The artwork, statues, sculptures, they're all amazing. Jordan, your take on history is quite thought-provoking.
