I picked up a White 99 with the V8 and Upcountry kit in May, it was a BC Jeep so very little rust. After owning just Cherokee's for all my life I've been so impressed, I love it. Quadra Drive is amazing too. Super excited for all the WJ content, keep it up! I've got a long list of maintenance and repairs to do in the future, lol.

That's awesome! I'm glad you like it! I can't wait to get this WJ tip top!

Yo bud just a quick tip, always lift the rubber boot on the caliper piston and spray some lubricant under it to lube the piston b4 u squeeze it in.. it will keep your calipers from Seizing up in the future and keep them working effortlessly with no resistance when taking your foot off the brake . I hate when calipers are sticky 😁
@ProjectDanH2 жыл бұрын
Great tip!! Sticky calipers are the worst!!

Thanx P. Dan!! Im waiting for my brake kits to come. Will do everything new, pads calipers with brackets, disks and parking shoes. One question, in what position do you reinstall the parking break adjuster? The star nut should be in what position on the threaded rod? Keep It Up! All the best A.K.

Hahaha! Oh man . I guess I've been ignoring it!
@cagkan872 жыл бұрын
Nice job Dan!! Btw if you ever decide to fix the axle seal, you have to weld retention plate`s bolt to the plate(or hold them with visegrip) as you torque them down, otherwise they like to rotate which they shouldn't. Don`t ask me how 😀

Yes, Axle seals and bearings in the next WJ axle vid!
@brynnond.69522 жыл бұрын
I’d do this but for some reason my axle seals keep going out after only 5k or so miles. Not sure why other than maybe using O’Reilly’s and AutoZone is not such a good idea and maybe should use Spicer seals. Axle vent is good and clear fluid is nice and clean so I’m getting kind of frustrated.
@ProjectDanH2 жыл бұрын
Maybe your axles are worn down... I bet fresh axles and fresh seals will keep it solid

I’m trying to wire up the OEM ones but when I tried I have no taillights and no interior lights… I’m located in Fairbanks Alaska and headlights are a must.. Any insight would be greatly appreciated from the ZK Demi God DanH

An XJ (1984 to 2001) is a Cherokee and a ZJ (1993 to 1998) is the first model of the Grand Cherokee.
