Pretty slick how they cross the thresholds in tandem so the rear man can watch the unexplored hallway. I also liked how he moved into the doorframe for cover. It’s the little things.

the last man standing in the threshold is crucial as the number 1 or 2 man working around an obstructed door is not going to shoot the last man through the wall if there was a hostile hiding behind the door.

Seems an even bigger risk at 1:09. I love these CQB video’s, but the cramming into the doorway just feels off. In addition at 1:09, the guy in the black shirt is in a better position to go left than right. They know it is essentially a corner-fed room, so the danger will come from the left and black shirt has the angle to see into that corner better upon entry.

And last man should not be in the doorway. It’s the fatal funnel. There’s never a time to just sit in it. That cramming leaves you unbalanced, and if you are cutting an angle, you already have the advantage of that angle, so you keep that angle, so they are doing swat doorway sweeps which is very useful and necessary, you clear all that space and stay on that final angle before entry, you wouldn’t pass it off to the other man, who holds the angle is in the best position to take it. So I don’t like that they enter rooms crammed up, pass off their advantageous angles, I would not trust these tactics.

A lot of dead operators... passing open door like that in one go? Its a suicide, if anyone stands in the room with aimed weapon. Very unsafe method of operating.

it's depend on operator’s skill i guess. They didn't expose their body to enemy until contact so kill or killed can be nearly even. tactics wise, it seems good threshold tactics for me, still don't know will it works but seems better at clearing corner.
