Read this guys....Some of u maybe confused so this may help... .....So be patient and do watch that end part of the video again, Here is the explanation:-Look, in this problem, we are talking about a plane which has an axis and grounded slant edge.....Now this plane is perpendicular to HP.....Just think about this....How would that plane look from the top.....Obviously, it would appear as a line. If this plane is inclined at 45 degrees with the VP, then the axis, as well as the grounded slant edge, would automatically get inclined at 45 degrees.....And hence the top view in step 2 has been recreated in step 3 making sure that grounded slant edge is kept at 45 degrees with xy line..........I hope this will clear your doubt....

Sir, your explanation made me crazy to learn more and more about EG, Unfortunately I have my Final EG today, and I did not prepare well for this. (Since i hated this subject very much from the beginning of the semester and ended up ignoring all class work, not done even a single sheet and missed Mid's Exam.) Hopefully I've prepared around 3 chapter from your videos and finally gonna write paper today. Doesn't care if i failed, i would be ever thankful to you Sir. You are such an amazing person on this planet with sole intension is to help those desperate student who were forced to learn this subject. A big thank from my side.

sir , i have two questions,1) when do we take two parallel sides of hexagon , perpendicular to x-y line 2) Is it neccessary in step 3 to move the apex towards the observer or its our choice ,when no info regarding apex is given??
@ManasPatnaikofficial7 жыл бұрын
1) Suppose you were asked to keep a triangular face grounded (on HP) then u would have made a vertical hexagon in TV (2 sides perpendicular to xy)........just think about this......And let's say we have been asked to keep a slant edge on ground (as in this problem itself) here you will make a horizontal hexagon (2 sides parallel to xy). 2)No its not necessary in step 3 to move the apex towards the observer. If nothing specifically hasn't been mentioned you have the option to keep the apex closer or far away from xy line....
