In Thai, names like red, blue, and other colours are SUPER common. Names that are after fruits are EXTREMELY COMMON as well. Heck, I have friends named “pencil”, “hairclip” and even cheese. I have friends named helicopter and van. Computer. Money. Ten, one, two. Crabs. Shrimps. Funny part- crabs in Thai is Poo. There’s a chef called Poo. She made a book called cooking with Poo.

In Malaysia, the Malaysian government does not allow parents to name their children after fruits, things, brands because it is very inappropriate to name children with that name, it will also make children feel ashamed of the name given and risk to pushing children into stressful situations and can affect their minds. As a one child of my parents I am saying ofc you shouldn’t but if you don’t even say when your child is doing something bad or for any other bad things your child is not going to good places and he is not going to learn hard truth about world and going to become soft skin in every case emotionally mentally and physically. You Should hit your child when they done something really bad otherwise just scold them just do something.
