It's a choice for that person. I grew up in an abusive household too like most people do. I grew up having depression so I don't know the feeling of peace emotionally and mentally. But I didn't let it control my sense of morality. I do believe in God and Jesus, that stops me every time I'm having an emotional melt down to harm myself and other people.

Jeffrey Dahmer is also one of the cases where evil people people are made not born. I think Jeffrey Dahmer did this because he wanted to take out his negative feelings on someone else that’s how he wanted to show he is like everyone else in the results of neglection he isn’t strange who can keep his emotions bottled he also can’t handle too much pain and loneliness he kept quiet because his emotions made him he was sad and lonely so that’s what he meant

Yeah but it's mostly psychopathic behavior which happens when a tool in your brain is just not there but it's useful to have "fear, sympathy, guilt, anxiety" emotions and ofc it can happen at birth, but not all psychopaths are murders, murder also came from awful experiences and that's called a "sociopath" but at this point jeffery is just a traumatized psychopath and that's how he murdered

It's not a strange cause anymore.... Like many other serial killers, Jeffrey too was a victim of a horrible childhood and bad parenting!! So the interest a child needs should be provided as a parent and the reason that most parents don't involve kids into their family matters is because they want to keep their children away from those stuffs such that they aren't mindful to these things instead of their studies and childhood amusements. But quite contradictorily, this instead leads a negative impact on the children; so it is thus important for the parents to let their children involve in these matters!!

no, he was a psychopath, a brain condition, millions of people have experienced childhood trauma and no one ends up being a cannibal 🤦🏻‍♀️, out of respect for the suffering and pain of hundreds of people it is stupid to justify his cruelty with minor traumas he had

@@lidiananicomauri5920 ik bro but I'm referring this trauma especially in case of serial killers... But yeah childhood trauma can't be the primary reason, it's his personal affection for dead corpses which is initially said by him!!

Almost all the serial killers and the people who killed the victims by torturing them in a very cruel, horrific, scary, and very disgusting way, have a past from which they grow to be who there are today. That past almost or always includes no love for the killers or lack of caring behavior. They wanted to be loved but not all of them got it. This is my opinion for being a major reason for who they are today. Killing innocent lives, for absolute no reason. Jaffery himself said he used to eat the victims parts because he wanted them to be a part of himself permanently. He said people always left him, he wanted love. He wanted support too. Why can't this world support each other, even though we all are the same, humans.

I don't know about others but I can't seem to wrap my head around why all serial killer podcast I listen to, these evil people are always defined by their background traumas. I mean if all those growing up in dyfunctional families decided to be a serial killer then I guess half of mankind will be killed off by them. These killers are pure evil so they should stop trying to make them look like the victims of circumstances. This is my honest opinion

Imagine telling family of someone who lost their life to depression - that "even I had depression, I didn't kill myself". This man here is a failed case of psychology. I am not sure you understand what a screwed up mind can make you do? I try to imagine myself or my loved one as his victim and it's painful and horrible. Only if, JD had a good family they could have sent him to a facility to treat these thoughts somehow and stopped him from turning to this I'll fate and destroying so many innocent and beautiful life.
