I absolutely agree with you! I've played through DW8 as well but something fell off about it.. or it was probably because I thought that DW7's Story was just too good to be topped.

31:50 this part to me was the saddest death in dynasty warriors 7. You think everything's fine until you see her reaction that tells you that something's very wrong. Your reaction is just the same as the characters which was very well done. Dynasty warriors 7 actually stuck more closer to the story of the romance of the 3 kingdoms than all the other dynasty warriors game.

1:02:12. Look like Wu had reminded Liu Bei on what benevolence means. Benevolence means kindness. Since Liu Bei is already married to a Wu woman, Liu Bei decided he must accept a surrender because if he gives in to competition, it won't match the definition of benevolence. So it looks like this time, Sun Quan is showing signs of benevolence instead of Liu Bei.

I love how Sun Quan picks Lianshi up bursts with maniacal laughter carrying her to a group of guys then say "Everyone! Let us enjoy THIS!" 1 Girl and around 30 Guys Adult thoughts start flowing through a man's brain

They were enjoying their time sitting together, until he announced it. I felt bad for them getting up (and even Bu Lianshi felt very embarrassed), lol. 😂

Man this game makes Cao Cao a virtuous saint when Sun Quan generally acts and holds the attitude of the original Cao Cao in the writings. If you were gonna go this route. At least show some kind of respect for each other being ambitious back stabbers whenever it calls for it.

That's Colonel Campbell isn't it? I want the narrator to say "They're demanding that the government hand over the remains of Big Boss," and I would accept that as the reason the entire Three Kingdoms warred with each other.

When ever the narrator mentions a battle that isn’t actually playable, I get annoyed. You’d think that the formula for a _Musou_ series’ sequels would be ‘more characters, more battles.’ Take a bunch of generic characters who have names and plot relevance and give them unique designs, weapons and voices; recreate all the battles you already have but with some tweaks and improvements, and add new battles that previous games skipped over. And don’t use actual gameplay models in the cutscenes.
