About the laminator and pouches you use, do they get crinkles or lines (don’t know what to call them)? My Scotch laminator does this to my pages after awhile so idk if it’s the laminator or the pouches or what?! Thought maybe it gets too hot so I tried letting it cool and going back🤷🏻‍♀️ it helped but I don’t want to have to keep doing this or wait until it happens to take a break. It’s frustrating, so if I need a new laminator or sheets then I’m willing to make the purchase to stop the problem 🤣

I am planning on doing popsicle sticks this year too but I am going toput numbers on them because each student gets a number and then I can re use them and don't have to repaint new ones

I tried that for a little while my first year teaching but I could never remember which student was which number and I didn't like just calling out numbers. It is definitely nice to be able to reuse them, though!

I write the students’ names on them and use them constantly throughout the day - to determine who gets to help pass out papers, who gets to share our first, first choice of a reading spot around the room, etc. I use them for basically everything! Then I usually just let the kids take home the one with their name on it at the end of the school year, so I remake new ones each summer.

Hi, Mary. I wouldn't use the bathroom with students in the room because I need to make sure I can see my students and the door does not lock. I can use the bathroom when my students are out of the room, though. Thank you!
