There is, indeed, a rail system in LA, including some underground.

Harold Zoid is a play on the name Harold Lloyd. He was a silent movie actor famous for doing his own stunts. Thanks for the reactions guys, I've been enjoying them.

he's also the man who inspired Clark Kent's glasses disguise, thanks to his own anecdotes about how nobody recognised him WITHOUT his own

@@danielwilson8604 I knew that Harold Lloyd had said that if he didn't want to be recognised in public, he only had to take his glasses off. However, I never realised that Clark Kent's glasses took their inspiration from him. I always love to learn, so thank you for that.

@@cpmahon i'm fascinated by the history of the Clark Kent glasses, and I'm glad you enjoyed this part of it.

No, there is no subway here in LA. The closest we have is LA Metro: an interconnected system of railtrains that very occasionally travel underground in some areas.

A decent episode 👍 I'm not from US either so I also missed some jokes. I didn't get the Stallone joke either but it felt kinda in bad taste 😆
@sabnock319 ай бұрын
I think it's because Stallone usually plays the brute type of heroes. Those who go in, beat everyone up, win the day. That's why show jabbed at him by joking that he is like a caveman with a club.

In a way, it’s also kind of a compliment. Even as a skeleton, he’s still recognized, and admitted to Hollywood parties along with guests.

I love how talking about washed up actors and then Joan Rivers shows up. She had time in light and then her personality just aged horribly in Hollywood.
@0okamino9 ай бұрын
I have to give her credit, though, for being self-aware and making jokes about it.

@@0okamino About that...Tres Mcneil did the voice. Will say though I am pretty sure she also did the voice on The Simpsons as Rivers and what she said was actually pretty brutal even if it was close to the truth.
@0okamino9 ай бұрын
@@abc123tiktok McNeil?! Give us McNeil! Yeah, I know _that_ wasn't really Joan, but she would also make pretty brutal jokes about herself, so it was quite accurate.

This and a Leela of her own are pretty forgettable in the classic run imo.
