In the episode with the Amazon women, you see Leela look into a puddle and it shows her with two eyes very briefly. That was a bit of foreshadowing in the show.

Adlai's whole thing with being average and normal is because he's trying to be super considerate to Leela, who wants nothing more than to be treated like a normal person. He's accommodating her desire by going hard on the whole "keeping everything super average" angle.

This is the first episode I watched as a kid! I was hella confused 😂 Now I have some questions: bullying Leela for having one eye knowing she's an alien counts as racism? 🤔 And shouldn't that kid with 3 ears and a tail be living with the mutants? Also Leela would get a lot of stares cuz she got a hell of a body tbh

Kids pick on each other for the worst things. Unlike their parents who judge their peers on mature, _importnt_ things like skin color, politics, and socioeconomic status. 🙄🙄🙄
