Great idea, MechOp! You know, I love the spirit of competition, but I'm equally about enjoying the ride. Even though I show my times at the end of each race, it's not always about setting record times for me. Case in point, that spontaneous 360 that I did just for the fun of it in my last video. And I usually just adjust the brake bias and leave the rest to default. So, there's more time to be gained in each race I've uploaded just by adjusting car settings. Despite this, having you all compete alongside in the dailies and monthly challenges does sound exciting! Might just have to try that. Thanks for the suggestion and the support! 🙂🫡

I can assure you, you won't regret it if you decide to buy it! As for the mirror, it might seem a bit crooked because I use the Asus ROG Bezel-Free Kit that helps the edges of the screens blend together. However, this can cause a slight distortion in some places😁

@@ProjectSimRacing I binged your channel and did a little research, they don't have Triple screen optimised for DR2. That's why the fov gets bended way too much compared to other Racing games. Nonetheless the gameplay is still enjoyable and I love to OLED colours. Keep it up

I thought you already knew that.😊 The lack of triple screen optimization in DR2 (and unfortunately, many other games as well) does indeed result in a more noticeable bend in the FOV compared to other racing games. It's a bit of a drawback, but we've got to make the best out of what we have.🙂

@@ProjectSimRacing They are Sparco gloves aren't they, hard to tell watching your Bruce Lee ninja hands? Do they get hot, I use Nike's 'running gloves' they are thin enough to make them comfortable for the Australian summer, while protecting the Alcantara from our grotty human skin oils. It is ironic that I use them on the Sim Rig, but bare hands in my cars. Those little old ladies who drive with white gloves have the right idea.

Thank you! The ffb is perfect to be honest! I usually use the recommended Fanalab settings for DiRT Rally 2.0 but sometimes I decrease it a little bit because it's too strong 😁 It's the CSL DD actually, same thing but the DD pro works with PS5 as well

Would you recommend dirt rally 2 (really like racing other ppl aswell, in dirt rally 2 that's rally cross I guess?) And do you think it's double without a handbrake? I absolutely love DiRT Rally 2.0, so I might be a bit biased. But yes, I wholeheartedly recommend it! While it's not primarily focused on racing directly against others (unless you're into Rallycross), the main thrill comes from chasing the best time you can get on a specific rally stage. As for the handbrake, while not absolutely necessary, it certainly enhances the experience. You can definitely start by assigning a button on your wheel for the handbrake function. If you find yourself enjoying the game and wanting a more immersive experience, you can consider getting a dedicated handbrake later on.

Thank you so much! Actually, the vast majority of the movement you see is all natural from the wheel's force feedback. I only enhance it a bit during jumps for that extra immersive feel. Stay tuned, though, a full motion rig is on my wishlist for upgrades for the near future 😁

Is this vehicle RWD? I’ve only briefly played dirt rally 2.0 and I felt I was fishtailing more than expected and at times like I was driving a boat (with AWD). I was beginning to think it was my shitty steering wheel FFB or skills. Watching you here sort of looks the same where you’re not just turning into your turns like other videos but feinting before turning/sliding. I was doing that a lot as well.

I use Soft Lock so the wheel matches the vehicle that I'm driving 😊 As different cars have different steering rotation in real life. But if you only want to be fast just use 540 degrees 👍 It makes it much easier to build muscle memory 😊
