It was great to see you there Francis! As far as advice I’ve gone 2 years now, bring a sun hat for the day it gets hot and bring a jacket for night, definitely stick around for night time and bring a headlamp as my absolute favorite part is night crawling with everyone in the dark with rock lights on the trucks it’s amazing fun all night long on the trails which are packed with great people
@RCReviewChannelАй бұрын
For sure, my good man. So good to see you Logan. Yeah, we were blessed with cool-ish weather for sure but the big hat still came in handy. Crazy wind then sun. And then hot the next day. My truck with good lights was a D1RC D90 Land Rover so it was rough. Should have had a headlamp but was lucky not to twist an ankle. I did so much crawling and I'm so stoked!!! Next year we'll bring one of em 1:1 buggies like the cool kids.

awesome event and I live just 5 mins up the road from it! 2nd year going and this year really got me into the RC world. my brother won the grand prize RC raffle at the end of the 2nd night. We got it up and running and have taken back to hit the trails already. its awesome! currently building up a capra right now myself. see yall next year!

Was my first year too. I went with the 808 crew, but was crawling mostly with the RES Concepts team. Such an amazing event! Definitely going next year! We rented a RV, which was nice to have a place to take a break, work on your rigs, and super close to shower and sleep.

Thanks for the review this was my 4th year I saw you there checking stuff out it was good to see you there my advice would be to check the weather reports & plan accordingly that area can get flash floods & storms come through & leave quickly on Saturday or Friday there’s was a low percentage of rain that went through but it was the wind that wrecked havoc & was super gusty & took out multiple pop up tents etc. I was on the trails & literally had to run back to camp to secure my stuff but luckily I had everything tied down but my pop up was getting damaged so I took it down but after the weather was perfect & the rest of the time was very nice weather. Also be prepared to charge your batteries some how because there are aren’t any readily available outlets also no running water & you can’t have a fire but you can cook on whatever you want bbq propane etc. The food vendors are actually really good also so you can also skip cooking or go down about 20 min away & find almost any fast food places. Definitely being prepared is the best way to have the most fun. There are so many things to do it’s hard to find time to do everything because you spend all your time on the trails & definitely bring night run headlamps & gear I spent till midnight out crawling with tons of others the scene was just surreal. The things you see & do at PLBTF are memories for life. Thanks for going now you know why it’s so good. Oh & definitely bring some bashers but as I said time goes by real fast.

This was the first time I attended as well. Took my 3 year old and we both had a blast! The winds really got us by surprise. Next year I’m taking my dome tent instead of the gazelle.

Our experience was the same. We waited at the gates for nothing since we were not camping. But.... I got to talk to so many groups so all worth it.

Hey Francis. I only saw you when we were all still outside the gates waiting to enter in our vehicles. I saw you step out of a truck, get back in and we all started moving. I never saw you again after that lol. But great event, love your channel and hope to see you at the next one. 🤙🤙🤙

Man I'm so stoked you finally came out! I've been seeing your videos for a little while and remember when you went to a beach out there and commented on how you loved the rocks, I even commented that you should come out to proline one day and experience those rocks and so glad it finally came to fruition!! I didn't get a chance to see you honestly but I only spent a few hours on Saturday in the vendor area. The rest of the time we were experiencing the trails with the family. I'll make sure to play some where's walddo next year and find you since you will be with a bigger crowd next time. Crawl on!
@RCReviewChannelАй бұрын
Right on buddy, thank you for the good words. Yeah definitely I am going to be there next year and will be even more visible in the expo area. I’ll just get a chair and hang out in the middle.

Francis, your late to the party. But hope you had fun. Proline is debatably the best rc event on the west coast. At least the best venue for sure. Glad you decided to go since your an rc youtubeer, and your in California. The reason it's better than axial fest is its all inclusive nit brand isolated. My crawl crew High Desert Crawlers is the local group and we host a trail each year.

Proline - their pre glued tyres dont stay pre glued for long and their bodies shatter after the smallest crash

they were good years ago and had a better variety of bodies also, and yes I'm pretty sure they use spit instead of glue on their pre glued tires lol
