as the prologue comes to an end, here are my thoughts: To me, Anko, Kazuya, and Mitsuba seem like antagonist material. - Kazuya is a stuck-up preppy pretty boy with a hyper-inflated ego(and power to back it up). Every sentence he speaks carries an insult with it. He also is the first one to suggest that trusting each other isn’t a good idea once he learns the true nature of this killing game. - Anko seems to be an “I will cause problems on purpose because I want to” type person who seems to know more than she says. She’s awfully cordial with Hiroto, almost as if she knows Hiroto more than Hana and the others. She also guesses the outline of the game before any of the others do, possibly proving she’s been in this situation before, or at least studied this. (Maybe she’s the Ultimate Survivor?) - Mitsuba is a young feisty little ultimate who’s talent implies there’s manipulation; said ultimate takes pride in the manipulation their talent involves. Mitsuba comes right out and says she was using any info from Hiroto to blackmail him! While I don’t think she’ll be the main antagonist, she likely will be a hurdle in the class trials. Hana isnt an antagonist to me, but a character of suspicion, as she knew Hiroto before the killing game. (Now do these characters all sound familiar?) I also am not sure Yukio’s making it out alive. He’s too small and innocent to make it out of the same game Kazuya, Anko, Daigo, and Honoka are in. Also Goro is my favorite character so far! He’s kind and understanding. Anyways, the Brave Danganronpa team did a great job with this fangan! For most, getting the prologue done is a big step, and I love that all the characters and the game are introduced enough to keep us ready for Chapter 1! I’m super excited to see the next part when it’s ready!

I don't know, Mitsuba kinda reminds me of Hiyoko. Kazuya and Anko on other hand might be the rivals of Hiroto. I think Hana , Daisuke or Kazuya might be first victim/killer. After all, sometimes simple designs can raise death flags. I agree that Yukio might won't make it and I think Daigo and Goro won't make it either. I wonder what development awaits for the characters.

And as for Mitsuba, she doesn’t strike me as the antagonistic type, with Anko she’s clearly operating on a different wavelength then most of the cast, i wouldn’t be surprised if she would intentionally frame herself as a killer or hide evidence to try and pull out Hiroto’s inner hero or something, and Kazuya is the type to put logic over emotion, he’s willing to throw the group into discord if it’s to accomplish his own agenda, and would fuck with everybody in the trial if it would give him an insight on who he should look out for. Comparing that with Mitsuba, she doesn’t feel like the type to actively hinder the investigation, she might use questionable tactics, but it wouldn’t be anything that would make the trial chaotic, her goal is to survive, but she wouldn’t put herself at risk to do so, she’s still willing to help the group, she just happens to be more distrustful

The more we see of Anko, the more I feel like she's the Ultimate Supervillain to Hiroto's Ultimate Superhero. She just really seems to like playing with him. Like a classic batman villain who's excited the hero has fallen into their trap. I'm not saying she's the mastermind, that seems too obvious. I mean, she straight up has a red X on her pocket, just like MonoChrome's eye. It all seems too obvious to be true. But I do think Anko knows Hiroto. The way she called him Hero when they first interacted in the gardens is what makes me think that. She already knew he was the Ultimate Vigilante, and she knows how much he wants to be a hero.

I've been following this series since its art being revealed on Tumblr years ago... gotta say, I still love the entire cast, especially the aesthetic of them all being colored coordinated like a rainbow! I have a feeling this'll be a REALLY good Fanganronpa. So far this is my favorite regarding entire cast, and SDRA2 for best overall story. That and waiting on other Fanganronpas to continue forward. Very excited for this one, and I really like all of these characters which definitely have passion and thought put into.

A vigilante can be seen as someone who tries to do good by their own morals, which in some cases leads to "taking things into their own hands". It's possible the police messed up something that Hiroto was trying to do and told him off for trying to do that, and now he doesn't believe in the ability to be a hero when he'd just be put down. Another possibility is that Hiroto tried to do something good, but the result he reached didn't end up aligning with the morals of others or perhaps even himself, and realizing that you can only be a "superhero" if you're seen as such, decided to give up. The latter seems more likely since he wasn't that proud of what he did in retrospect.

Okay, I'm officially convinced that mystery girl (Anko the red-headed wonder) is the ultimate mystery/detective novelist. She mentions 'motive' multiple times, explores her contemporaries as potential suspects, or 'characters' and Hiro as the 'Hero'. And she was able to figure out the game pretty quickly, knowing that the stakes would be high. She's experienced this kind of thing before, having written such scenarios herself. To her, this game is nothing more than a puzzling book to solve. In fact, she could even be the mastermind, trying to live through the fantasies of her own books. But that might be too obvious 🤔

I have two theories for her talent Either this (Ultimate mystery/detective novelist/criminalist) or _Ulitmate Analyst_ I highly doubt she is the mastermind (too obvious) yet she seemed to catch on Monochromes words pretty quick and jump into correct conclusions. So she may be the Ultimate Analyst with sertain intrest for mystery because they make things _unpredicatble_ and intresting, you need to solve them. Or she likes mystery/heroes the same way Nagito likes hope. I hate comparing canon characters to fanon due respect, but her talking to Hiro like that (that she is sure he will save them all and that stuff) kind of sounds the same way Nagito gets gis students to be "stepping stone" to hope.

I knew about the kg announcement obviously, but the way MonoChrome said "kill each other" still made my skin crawl. The visuals, the pausing, the voice acting... This whole prologue has been incredible, but that moment in particular was truly flawless. 11/10, I can't wait for the first chapter!

I have a theory that sounds ludicrous: the mastermind is an alien species that took over earth and the killing game is an experiment, the way we experiment with lab rats. The main reasons I believe this are: A: the advanced technology. Not just with the nanobots, but also with the garden being able to generate enough food for everyone. There's nothing on Earth that can make this possible, and the start of the prologue along with everyone's introductions doesn't indicate this takes place in an advanced future. B: The way Monochrome talks about the Ultimates. She make it clear that despite their titles, she sees no worth in them. Calling them insects, insulting their intelligence and how she said she shouldn't waste a participant. It reminds me of how scientists might view lab rats when they conduct experiments. A lot of said experiments are lethal to the rats, but that doesn't stop them from doing them for the sake of people, their own race. C. The fact that a killing game even exists(this one uses the smallest amount of evidence from the game btw). The fact of the matter is, a killing game wouldn't be allowed on Earth today. That's why I think this is being run by another species that is now the dominant race. This ties into a second theory I have, and it's that the characters volunteered to participate in the game to be safe from all the dangers in the outside world. It would explain the Coward's Paradise section of the title, as well as the line from Monochrome where she calls the Ultimates cowards. I think the Ultimates being cowards is an important part of the mastermind's plan, and that the game is being shown to the rest of humanity for that plan. The first official game's mastermind did the same thing to spread despair, but I think the mastermind for this story is doing it to show how inferior humans are to their species. Because if Ultimates, people humanity held in a high regard, can't fight against this species, what chance does anyone else have? ...Is that still a stretch? Yeah. We've only seen the prologue, and there are about 6 more chapters to see of this story. But I think it's an educated guess based on what we know so far with some theorizing for the last reason.

I can see why you think he will be killer, but I feel like the contradiction is that even though he doesn’t like hiroto I feel kazuya knows he would figure out his murder plan and before you say “what if he just chooses to kill hiroto” or “he will kill just to prove his point”. The answer to the first one quote: hiroto has proven to have extreme observation and potential fighting capabilities so even if Kazyua has his so called “impulse “ ability that doesn’t mean he’s good at fighting only good at sports that whether or not have equipment for killing hiroto still has the upper hand in battle skills even of kazyua is handy with a club. The answer to the second quote: he wants to win by surviving which also means he plans to survive without hurting anyone cause as much as I hate his personality I don’t think he’s stupid to flat out kill to prove a point cause he seems to be the type of person to enjoy watching others suffer mentally instead of physically in which he will not kill instead be like kokichi in a way to enjoy watching others suffer. Course I could be wrong after typing out all this, but my main point is that I don’t he will be a killer cause kazyua wants to win by taking the path that leads to absolute success which is surviving without instead of taking the risk of being caught after killing someone....which course means he will likely be a victim.

These are so much fun to watch! that said here's my thoughts on the characters so far in no particular order: Hiroto: Seems like a typical protagonist character, interested to see what his backstory entails Ichirou: I expect him to die early as his Doctor skills would be super helpful to investigations. Otherwise I think he's funny and he reminds me of Aizawa from BNHA Mitsuba: She's like a more likable Hiyoko, and I think her talent is more interesting too. I see her dying fairly early as her push for secrets could get her in trouble Hana: Super interesting! She applies to many archetypes and she could really go anywhere from here. Definitely feel like there's going to be a big revelation about her at some point. I see her dying right away, right at the end, or being best girl survivor Honoka: She's a ball of fire and it'll be interesting to see if she's going to do anything crazy, (probably lmao) I see her as at least making it to participating in the third trial Goro: Super likable and level headed which probably means he's dying early lmao Daigo: Stereotypical rough, tough, and rash kinda guy. I see him either dying early or having some major development part way in and changing his character up i.e. Fuyuhiko kinda thing Ume: Just a plain fun character, I'm interested to see if her "abilities" will play a part in any of the trials, she could honestly be put just about anywhere Kazuya: I hate him with a passion and that's why I love him. Its damn good writing. He's screaming antagonist to me but that's seems a bit obvious, so I'm putting him around fourth trial for how long he lasts Hibiki: Very reminiscent of Kazuichi, a super fun character that expertly rides the line of being annoying. He's another one that could be put anywhere Urara: As a manga fanatic myself I feel a kinship with her lmao, I feel she definitely fits the comedy survivor role well Rei: BEST GIRL. She didn't interest me much at first but damn she's so freaking amazing. She gives me Yukiko from Persona 4 vibes what with her laugh attacks and all. She could go anywhere too Daisuke: Obvious candidate for the best friend character, and very likable too, I see him going far but making him an early out would be a gag Yukio: Super cute and super sweet, either an easy victim or a twist psycho which would be a lot of fun! Stella: Her character could go anywhere, she's very likable and a very flexible character, she could fit almost any role (pun intended) Anko: The titular "I do whatever I want to do and screw you if you think you can mess with me". The prologue just concluded and I’m already invested in the series. Each character has so much potential and their roles are well written. I adore how they differ from one another and build up a spectacular beginning of their own chapters. Even their designs and aesthetics compliment it as a whole plus the storyline is intriguing. Going on its own path and giving unexpected twists for the audience to intake. (The voice acting really sets the atmosphere and brings out the character’s emotions so vividly.) I have no doubt that this fangan will become popular for its overall outstanding effort that it’s displayed. I look forward to seeing more as time passes by. Although it’s difficult to pick favorites since all of them are astonishing in their own way. I must admit Kazuya, Honoka, Ichirou and Daigo have peaked my interest since they stood out to me. Usually I’m not a fan of antagonists but Kazuya really brings the cake and utilizes the situation to reality. Although it’s just a feeling, I feel like his upbringing has him to act one, him vs everyone else and only winners are seen are worthy to be on the pedestal stool. As for Honoka, her design is stunning and her personality and act switching back and forth is a nice addition to her character. Knowing right from wrong yet playing by her own rules as long it doesn’t cross the dangerous line. While Ichirou isn’t the kind of doctor that people would expected on the outside, but the minute someone is injured then his devotion shows. I am curious to see his reaction if he isn’t able to save someone under his care but that’ll be left a mystery. Finally, Daigo’s code of honor does give his character more validation than categorizing him as a violent brute. He sticks by those rules and that’s rather a surprise from the first impression to now at the end of the prologue. Admitting that he isn’t arrogant enough to step out of line in their circumstances. Well I’m certain that I’ll be making art of the cast in my free time to express my admiration for the series. Keep doing what your doing and take your time with this project!

I to thought it was strange, and my original theory was that considering he’s the ultimate vilgilante I assumed he must’ve worked closely with police and detectives in actual cases considering one: he’s really observant, two: he thinks out a solution before he acts, three: if he has actually taken down criminals then that proves he’s really good at fighting. The reason why I thought he hid it was so he didn’t want everyone to rely on him cause something went wrong on a certain case he went on.

With the prologue done and out of the way, I can certainly say that, so far, one of this fangan's strongest points is the characters. Visually and aesthetically pleasing, entertaining and varied in personalities, well-written dialogue and well-written as characters. That's my opinion, anyways. With that said, I simply have to say that this fangan probably has me liking more characters than other fangan has before. I don't really dislike any of them, except maybe Kazuya, and I have to admit that this fangan provides A LOT of husbando and waifu material. That's wonderful but will also prove to be devastating over time.

Nobody told me Fanganronpas could he this good! Not only is the design amazing but the writing is really interesting and exciting! I really have to commend you on how much the cast FEELS like a Danganronpa cast. You got the gimmicky characters as well as the more straight forward ones. Not to say they lack complexity or anything like that. When I say gimmick I mean characters like Honoka and Ume. Even got the asshole/realist (potential rival) in Kazuya as he plays the crucial role of giving the character's the wake up call of not everyone is gonna go along with their trust each other plan. And I mustn't forget to mention how amazing the voice acting is! And I love that you did the traditional 'Doubting each other' CG where all the characters glare uneasily at one another. So many Fangan's skip over these so I really appreciated this as it's one of my favourite Danganronpa traditions. I really like the touch of having Hana standing beside Hiro in the middle as she's with him on the "We have to trust each other" it's really neat. I only wish Anko was on the other side of him even though we don't really see which side of the boat she's on yet she's shown to be really fascinated by Hiro so even if she stood there like a sort of dark angel I just think it would've been cool. Which brings me to the most important part... Anko is Best Girl! Really excited to see what chapter 1 will bring! That said I know this stuff takes a lot of time and work so I'll need to be patient but just know I'm excited! I mainly hope you take care of yourself so you don't overwork yourself and potentially get burnt out or deteriorate your mental health. Anyway enough rambling from me! I love this series and excited to see more! You've made a fantastic prologue!

What can Hiro do indeed? Like, is there anything he can actually do? Saying sweet and righteous ideas may be a good way to prevent any killing at all, but that would only work if they were promised freedom in the long run (like, if they survive for x time, they will be set free). I think Kazuya will grow on us eventually. The way he worded "you'll learn that it's betray or be betrayed" means he's gone through his own share of betrayal, so I'm interested in his development through the game. Anko is probably the most obviously sus of all of them. She almost layed out the rules of the killing game by herself. Maybe she is the Ultimate Danganronpa Fan? That would be funny, but would explain her eyes (unless there are no color lenses). We still don't know what their world is like. A hint to that could be the nanomachines. Journalist girl didn't recognize that, so I'm leaning towards something similar to Danganronpa 2 or v3? Oh, well, looking into that since the prologue is still a bit too early, so that shall wait. Awesome fan game, by the way! Considering it's supported by RPG Maker (or similar), it's incredibly well done! Now, I have mixed feelings about Chapter 1. If it never starts, all 16 will still be alive in my mind, but the moment it becomes a thing, one of them will probably die forever. Oh, well. That's the Danganronpa formula after all, so bring it!!

Funnily, Anko doesn't seem like a person with bad intentions to me. She is definitely on the White team in my book. She's very intelligent, and loves a good mystery. That's why she doesn't like to share her info, to make it fun for the other party to figure it out for themselves. That glove also sends me back to another character, which makes my think she's an Ultimate Detective. At least that's what I think! And Hana... Yeah, she's too good for this world. You know this is a great series when I somehow like the characters I'm meant to despise. This is a really well-rounded cast, and I love everyone to bits already! Particular favorites for me include; - Kazuya, who I find strangely fascinating. His ego and self-assured nature make him a very notable figure in the cast, but there are also some things that don't quite add up with him. He seems to have strong feelings on how people should live their lives, and not remain complacent losers, and yet he himself is content with taking it all easy breezy on a Golf Course because he's simply above everyone around him. - Mitsuba, as she's very clearly nosy and tenacious, but also sticks to an admirable creed. She's definitely not someone you want on your bad side, and yet this silver-tongued sweet talker has already worked her way into my heart somehow. Also having an Ultimate Journalist is rly cool, I've always wanted to see that used. - Hiroto, as his heroism and sense of justice are great framing devices for the story and dynamics between the cast. He stands out from typical vanilla protags by having his own shred of boldness to him. He's not afraid to stand up for himself and just let the other characters give him lip service for the entirety of an interaction. - Ichirou, because any character whose first impression consists of wanting to "investigate the beds" before falling asleep for the remainder of what is supposed to be a group investigation is automatically my fav. - Rei. *Best Opening Line Ever.* Also just rly well designed, and the contrast between her appearance and demeanor is super endearing and I love it. - And of course, Monochrome. I didn't think anyone who shares a voice with the gremlin that is Narumi Osone of all characters could ever be considered threatening, but Monochrome just feels completely otherwordly in a way that I did not expect. Rather than just being a somewhat distant mascot, they feel almost intangible, in a very unsettling manner. There's plenty of other things I wanna gush about too, like how the sprite work is gorgeous, the character portraits are full of personality (Especially Kazuya and Urara's), how the new tracks are complete bops, and how each character's passion is clearly telegraphed, whether they themselves know it or not is just fantastic! I can't wait to see where this goes!

Edit: So that was a crazy episode ! I was honestly worried for Daigo, it’s a relief that he’s not death. I don’t have so much suspicion in their reactions except for Anko of course and I believe Kazuya (despite the fact that he insulted my baby boi) had a normal reaction for what happened. You never know if others could betray you, especially when you only know them for such a short time. Hibiki was in denial, Ume was Ume, Stella was quite aggressive, Yukio was worried about the food for everyone, Goro was hopeful, Rey adapted quickly, other where worried, doubtful and angry. I'm really enjoying the series so far! Good job! Here are my impressions on the characters: *ANKO HIBANA* The most mysterious one of the group. She sure is annoyingly coy, suspicious (because she seems too knowing), and a bit of a showoff, but she's not the mastermind... probably. She's bound to stir some trouble, especially in Class Trials (where I see her beating around the bush and relishing the moment before helping out, all for her own amusement). She gives me Nagito vibes: "That *'heroism'* sleeping inside of you is exactly the thing we need most in this situation". 'Nuff said. She has an unsettling cocktail of: morbid enthusiasm for the killing game's mysteries, her eerie, seemingly affected manic pixie dream girl attitude, and her "no-shit" logical, calculating behavior. POSSIBLE TALENTS: "Ultimate Kadōka" (ikebana practitioner) -> Anko has an association with flowers. She's found by Hiroto in a garden, staring at some flowers. When you dissect the kanji for her surname, "Hibana", you'll find that (火) is "fire" and (花) is "flower". Her surname also rhymes with 'ikebana', the Japanese art of flower arrangement. Her character art features her, surrounded by roses. She changes the topic when Hiroto asks her if her talent involves flowers. "Ultimate Mystery FIction Writer" -> Her name does feel like the pen name of some Japanese avant-garde writer, so she may be this, like other people in this comment section have said. Additionally, he seems "genre-savvy" to me and mentions a "motive" several times, like other comments have also said. "Ultimate Analyst" -> She analyzes and picks apart everything: Monochrome's words, probes into Daigo, Honoka and Hiroto's motivations, clarifies what she means to others to avoid misunderstandings, etcetera. -"Ultimate Booby Woman"- -> Just kidding. *KAZUYA MAKISHIMA* You're an arrogant preppy boy, aren't you? Well, he seems like the Byakuya type: has a talent and is quite proud of it. Can raise a good point (trust can't be forced and Hiroto wasn't being upfront about his talent), but he could really insult others less. Maybe he has a reason for acting like that, but still. I predict that he'll be either a survivor or a killer in self-defense in one of the later chapters. He seems too guarded (plus his supposed reflexes) to be a victim. I thought he was the Ultimate Sailor for a second there. *DAIGO TAKATSUKASA* Despite his title of "Ultimate Hooligan", he seems to be pretty noble. I admire his stamina. I can't see him murdering someone carelessly, but I can see him killing someone in self-defense or if he's provoked and seriously pissed off. *GORO YAMAOKA* Goro seems like a caring peacemaker. Unfortunately, he'll probably die by mid-game, whether as an accidental killer by trying to protect someone, or sacrificing himself somehow. Maybe someone will even take advantage of his protective nature, and he'll become a murder victim (somehow). *YUKIO SATO* I'm sorry to say that this professional cutie pie will most likely be a victim in Chapter 1 or 2 (to establish the mood of the killing game). I can't see someone as kind as him surviving. It'd be kind of anticlimactic to supply the others with delicious food while a dark "game" of murder and deceit rages on. He may surprise me and be a desperate killer (a la Case 1's killer in Danganronpa 2), though. By the way, I like how he basically has a Yoshi Cookie accessory on his hat. *STELLA HOSHINARI* Stella's surprisingly friendly and down-to-earth for a star. Then again, since she's the "Ultimate Actress", it could all easily be a facade. I suspect that she'll either be an early-game victim (to establish that no one, not even movie stars, are safe) or a survivor. She can be a murderer if pushed to the limit and if her dreams are at stake, maybe (see her star-shaped earring and surname *Hoshi* -nari -> 'Hoshi' means 'star' in Japanese), but I doubt it. *MITSUBA HAGIHARA* Haggyhara, the professional snoop, seems to be a bratty half-pint, much like Hiyoko Saionji. I appreciate that she values the truth, but her methods are a different story altogether. I estimate that Haggyhara will be an early to mid-game victim (maybe she gets too curious and someone decides to silence her for her insolence), but she'll likely be greatly annoying, especially during Class Trials, regrettably. I can't really see someone with her short frame brutally murdering someone. She may get some serious character development that makes her more likeable... maybe. She's a dead ringer of Chie Satonaka from Persona 4. *ICHIROU TAIDA* Doc seems to be the 'brilliant, but lazy' character. He'll likely be a mid-game victim, as I can't see someone so potentially helpful to investigations surviving or even being alive for many chapters. Alternatively, he may be forced to resort to murder (not necessarily to escape, but for another purpose). If he survives the whole game, I'll be surprised. *REI TSUJI* She seems mysterious, cold, and socially-awkward, but not a bad person overall and can even be adorable. She may either be a survivor or a mid-game victim. I can't see her murdering someone, as I picture her as someone who watches closely from the sidelines as events unfold. I bet she's badass with a bow and arrow. *UME OMORI* An adorable, if a bit creepy cinnamon roll that is either going to survive the game or become a mid-game victim. Her talent seems really intriguing and I'm looking forward to seeing it in action. *URARA AMEMIYA* She seems like an amiable gal, if a bit neurotic and naive. I suppose that she is either gonna become a late-game victim or an accidental killer. Her "OMG you're a pervert" shtick reminds me of Toko Fukawa. *HONOKA ONIZAKI* Honoka seems like the unstable type. She alternates between cheerful and caustic in an amusing way, and I can see her snapping mid to late-game and trying to bomb the whole Last Hope Sanctuary, who she believes to be the mastermind, or both. She seems like the type to go out with a bang, so I don't see her being a survivor. I love her character design. Especially her flaming hair and that cactus flower she wears in it. *HANA KONGOU* This girl seems too wholesome and girl-next-doorsy. Something's definitely up with her. Her pink hair, presence of hearts in her character design, checking up on Hiroto when he wakes up, and her readiness to nickname Hiroto makes me think that she'll be emotionally depending too much on Hiroto and place further burdens upon him. Worst case scenario, she'll be dangerously obsessive and be willing to commit violent actions to protect her beloved Hiroto. Best case scenario, she'll emotionally support Hiroto, until she ends up tragically dying and simultaneously cause Hiroto grief and provide him with motivation to end the killing game. If Hiroto is a regretful mastermind/traitor, she'll further his doubts about continuing the game. But this feels like well-trodden ground. *DAISUKE SHIRIAKI* Seems like he'll be Hiroto's best bro (a la Danganronpa V3's Kaito), and a cool guy. However, I believe that he'll get shafted early on to cause Hiroto grief. Maximum grief points if he turns out to be a killer that just desperately wants to see his family (again, a la Case 1's killer in Danganronpa 2), and if Hiroto turns out to be a regretful mastermind/traitor. He reminds me of Akihiko Sanada from Persona 3. *HIBIKI KOTOBUKI* His name and talent remind me of Ibuki Mioda. Hibiki also seems like Kazuichi Soda, the cowardly comic relief character. He seems cool, and could end up being Hiroto's ally after Hana and/or Daisuke's deaths. I suspect that he'll either be a survivor or a mid-game victim. Before his introduction, I thought he was gonna be called the "Ultimate DJ". I enjoy the pinkness of his character design, it's unexpected yet refreshing to see it in a guy. *HIROTO AKAGI* The Tomato Head Red Power Ranger Protagonist. He seems like a sane, nice guy, but he seems to have some juicy secrets... He'll either be a survivor, or the mastermind of the killing game (maybe his fellow Ultimate Students committed a serious offense upon society, and he just wanted to exact justice) that ends up regretting having set up the game. To me, it seems that the mastermind/traitor could be Hana (too normal-seeming), but it's a bit early to make predictions about that... About the title "Brave Danganronpa: Coward's Paradise", I have a theory: -> Theory: The 16 Ultimate Students imprisoned at Last Hope Sanctuary refused to use their talents when it mattered the most, which wreaked havoc on society, really changed other people's lives for the worse, and caused despair to innocent people. In retaliation, the Students were labeled "cowards" and they were punished by being put in a killing game. That's why Monochrome is so sure that the students won't receive outside help: the ones outside are responsible for their imprisonment. Hiroto may even be complicit or the mastermind of this plot. He's not hiding his talent: he truly is the Ultimate Vigilante, but he was pardoned for his "offense" in exchange for overseeing the killing game and ensuring that justice prevailed (by making sure the rest of the students perished, one way or another). Throughout the course of the game, he starts having doubts about the "rightness" of it all (especially after Hana and/or Daisuke die tragically). The "Coward's Paradise" part of the title is ironic and probably refers to the hellish imprisonment and killing game that the students are subjected to. I may be way wrong, but it's fun to guess anyway. :^)

All the character designs are amazing! The dialogue art and how you make it actually look like a game! I thought this was an official game til I thought more about it.
