Super luxurious van! 🏆 You built this like a theater. All black. So the reading lights are like spot lights.

You went above and beyond the call of duty to work in that heat and stay on schedule! Looking good!

Not gonna pitch a fit about the heat... waited all winter for it!! :)

I like the way you ended up mounting the switches. Are you going to install a few lights in the electrical compartment? If so, you might consider one of those led strips attached to a bed support. I’d go with amber to keep from attracting insects when you have the rear doors open at night. A false/removable/carpeted wall at the rear of the bed would help seal off the cabin from bugs when you’re accessing the cargo area too. I built a block off wall in my sleeper berth for when I open my side box door to access things under the bunk at night. Everything looks great! I pull a tanker for Indian River throughout the lower 48 and pass through Oregon on Highway 97 once every month or two. We haul a lot of apple juice back and forth from Washington to California. There’s about 500 of us, so you probably see our trucks around. The Pacific NW definitely has some beautiful scenery and is a better area to operate in compared to other regions.

Hey TexasNomad! Good tip on the lighting... will probably go that route when I get to it! I'll have to wait and see how I want to finish off the back once the water tank is plumbed in, I have an idea of what I want! :) Definitely seen Indian River pass through! Safe travels... if you see me, flash them lights! :)

You should give classes on how to do this type of project work. You’d be a big hit and make a lot of money.

That would be fun for sure!

It's been 90 F here in AK too. So a trip to the cool Oregon coast sure sounds nice.

Lots of lights, I like LEDS too. If you get in my neck of coast, let me know.

Looking good. I like the location of the switches, access while in bed, while standing at sink or sitting on other side. On the 120v , can one outlet go above counter?
@OregonBatman2 жыл бұрын
Hey Stuart, Thanks! I could have put one above the counter, but running the wire may be a bit tricky. Actually like where they will be... after using it for a while, might make that choice

Very nice! This is a pretty sweet looking build. We are doing a vintage toyota motorhome reno on our channel. The heat is killing us lately, wanting to hit the road already and find some cooler weather and scenery. keep it up! Cheers

Thanks guys! Just checked out your channel and subscribed... you two are fun to watch! :) You have quite the project. Keep going! If you do a little on it each day, you'll be done before you know it! Put a fan in there while you work... a little breeze helps in this heat! I'll be watching the progress... Cheers! Al

Why didn't you choose the flexible solar panels?
@OregonBatman2 жыл бұрын
I do plan on putting a rack on top. So the rigid panels will work fo me.
