thanks mate!! ive been hell for doin it ever since i was a kid, i even do it for pike those big size 5 mepps (or smaller if your after perch) are even better if you swop the treble for a single hook then you can add any soft plastic you want on them and they nail fish

Well done again. The seeker is a great lure but I like your tip and it works. I've just been chasing the mackerel and blocken. Will have to get over to strangford. Tight lines and keep them coming

Nice one mate, do you leave it dull or shine it? I made one but only had mackerel this week with small tides and sunshine, hopefully end of the week with more flow will get a bass on it at the very least.

i usually give it a shine up again after i get home mate but plenty have took it dull too, small tides never seem very productice for me either mate, even when i see them jumpin on these tides and cover fish they dont seem overly botherd and the sun brings the heat which they hate so ive tend to find theyll be holding over reefs with a good run of tide to draw in a bit cooler water

@@whitetroutchannel yip, in my short coastal sea trout but very long bass experience they seem to behave VERY similar. Also on the small tides the water is super gin clear, I've had best results with a metre or two vis or when there's a bit of colour right on the shore line but clear just off. And thanks I think I'll give it a light polish and then coat with clear rod resin, I'll let you know if I get one on it👍

@@dazlee3257 ive found that it works the best under the clear water conditions mate id say givin it the light seal might just be best for constant results, if you see some of my videos from last year mate they seemed to like it for about 4 or 5 weeks then they just went off it again, they are a strange fish in their habits and wanderings

thanks mate, the seatrout fishing is thing ive done the most of and the fish i enjoy to try n catch the most, as for the seeker its been the 16g version thats the one ive been using ive tried the smaller 8g and its just not as effective, just one other bit of advice mate its def a summer lure, ive used the pattern at various points but its during the summer it takes off, hope this helps and many thanks for watching 👍👍

What side of the lough is most productive mate it's a vig lough and I have mobility issues I'm in belfast and would like to have a we go around there 😀

seemingly the west side is the only area that is seemingly getting fish at all this season and if youve problems over the beach that area is slightly more user friendly too, marfield is managable and usually throws a few, but ill be honest mate the whole lough is as dead as a doornail this season, ive been about 30+ times and have managed a few follows and thats been it, if you knew somewhere closer id try there mate, i used to see a few boys down near kinnegar tryin for trout and there looks a good run of tide there too

I've got 4 fish on my raider this year I'm on a mission . I'm after sea trout ,mullet, bass, and the King of fish the salmon . I'll let you know how I get on later in the year again thanks abd tight lines my friend

@@peterjohnston4472 id focus attention 2 at killard point if ur up near ardglass ive heard tales of montrous things there and even heard of the odd bass down next killief but ive little first hand experience there mate but i know theres fish that direction and if there not inside the lough theyll be close to the outside, no dramas mate hopefully helps you in some small way

@@whitetroutchannel cheers mate took a trip dawn yesterday evening had few chucks had a fish jump 4.5 ft outa the water behind my lure and was easily the biggest sea trout I've ever seen . Swore it was a salmon huge fish 5 6 lb easy 👌 😋 ill be back over next few evening weather permiting. Tight line pal
