I use the peak controller method but link it to a equalizer just for the frequency (not volume) when I sidechain the kick

Pro Tip- A better technique while setting up the sidechain with peak controller is loading up Fruity Balance in your mixer track and then link that Volume knob to the controller, this way both your sampler and mixer track volume faders are safe and can be used to tweak as you may like

Simon has always very much reminded me of myself. I've been following his content for the last decade and have always been fascinated with all the different types of videos/styles of music he produces in his videos. Like Simon, I was introduced to the piano at a very young age from my Grandmother. She tried to get me into lessons, but I deal with ADHD and it was impossible to get me to sit still and focus on anything that I thought was "boring". The piano fascinated me. Music fascinated me. Learning how to play songs by Beethoven, or Mozart, and many other classical musicians fascinated me. But sitting down for hours and trying to focus on theory was something my brain forever rejected! By the time I was in Elementary school I was already winning talent shows playing songs like Chariots of Fire, Moonlight Sonata, Fur Elise, and several others that I learned to play by ear. By the time I was 19 I found out about a program called Reason. This was way back in 2003 and that was when I first realized that I didn't have to go to some fancy studio and fork out hundreds to make my own song. I ended up purchasing Reason and made a few hundred beats with it from 2003-2006 before I then made the permanent switch over to FL Studio. I've been using FL Studio ever since. And like Simon, I also can produce almost any genre of music. I also rap, sing, write, mix, write for other artists, and have been addicted to making music for the past 20 years now. The only difference is.. I don't record and upload content. I do release music, but I'm very anti social and I've always been a loner that doesn't really get out and network the way an artist should if they're wanting to find success on a large scale. I hate myself for it.. but it is what it is and that's all it's ever been! #MISTA808
