Nairobi Express Way is a PRECAST. Even a stone house is dangerous when not done well. Most SKYSCRAPPES in the world are Precast. Quality of workmanship matters a lot in everyway.

Just to correct.Precast wall panels were originally called acotec and were introduced and trademarked by a Finish company called elematic.Chinese copied that technology and sold these machines to companies in Kenya.These wall panels were never meant for fencing in that manner it’s just business men innovating.Original acotec wall panels are the highest quality and are used around Scadnavian countries,India,Pakistan,Bangladesh,Malaysia and Indonesia.Coming on youtube to say precast is bad is ill advised in all honesty

​@@johnkaggs1406 Correct. Pre-cast panels have been in use in the West and parts of Asia for decades, and very high quality buildings have been constructed using them. In fact, I'm not sure how we as a developing country can ever industrialize without the ability to quickly put up commercial and residential buildings, something that pre-cast panels allows one to do. The current way of building with darugo stones is way too inefficient for the speed we should ideally be moving at. It's ridiculous that a 4 bedroom house takes more than a year to construct, in this day and age of alternative materials and construction methods! The problem with Kenyans is that we tend to throw the baby out with the bath water when it comes to construction. Just because these particular panels were poorly made doesn't mean that the pre-cast technology in and of itself is bad. In fact, for a high seismic zone like ours, panels are much safer than stones in the event of an earthquake because of the way panels fall as opposed to individual stones. What we need in Kenya are serious investors to set up a factory that manufactures high quality pre-stressed panels, si hizi zingine za kienyeji that are made in peoples' back yards. That factory will then make their profits back via economies of scale by selling the panels to developers who are building high rises and other mass projects.
