Thanks teacher Boris. I remembered teacher Kathy Lien mentioned about Funded Engineer a couple months ago. Finally it is shut down. Thanks for update this issue. Keep learning more from both of you

it looks like metaquotes ceasing support earlier this year exposed the weakness of lot of the firms. sure some of them got back mt5 but it was too late. it looks like most of these relied on challenge fees to pay their traders. once people shifted to the top 3 firms.. the rest of the firms started to fall apart..

ALL firms rely on fees. The problem with one that went bankupt was they did not allocate enough for payouts

​@@BKForex definitely not ALL.. a prop firm should function even if zero new clients have applied. the main source of revenue for a prop firm should be the trading of its own funds with the help of different traders on contract. RELIANCE on fees is what causes things like delayed payouts and denied payouts for bs reasons. if you think traditional prop firms have relied on fees to pay their own traders you know nothing about proprietary capital trading.

Dont need any red flags. Just stick to FTMO if you want a solid prop firm

FTMO is often three times more expensive than others - so people may want more choice.

@@BKForex true, but you get what you pay for. I had a Next step funding account (hft), the account was cheap, but it took them 3 months after requesting a payout to tell me they didnt like my strategy and just canceled my account. Trading the same strategy with FTMO and received multiple payouts.

When you say "prop firms are gonna be there for quite a long time", do you really see them going away eventually? Even with regulation I don't see the industry ceasing to exist, especially now that established brokers are entering the market with better infrastructure and liquidity.
