Well, I tend to be conservative in my approach to trading, relying on edge research and pro advice when determining entry and exit points, and my trades have elevated by a mile for the the past 10 months. I made my share of mistakes before starting for sure however I’m up ~$410k so far this year!

Hi Wade, Thank you fpr the video. I have few questions. If i want to trade at 15 min level, i might see the 4h chart and then take an entry in 15 chart..so how long would i keep the buy or sell position- becuase the 4h guys will keep it open for 2-3 days, so if i wait for them then iam no longer a 15 min guy?...second question: At any instant of time or timeframe,whatever may be the trend - we are talking abour "past - until that instant of time whatever happened" but that does not gurantee..whats going to happen in the next 4hr candle, it could be exactly opposite..every 5 or 10 min some news comes and turns everything opposite to whatever we were doing. do you have any recommended strategy to tackle this?

Which trading view indicator is that you're using to identify contractions
@ericmyers25326 ай бұрын
Exactly. All he’s saying is to not go against the overall bigger trend. Seeing as how there are 48 30 minute candles in the daily chart….that could be some decent losses on the 6-12 pull back candles. Not really for the scalper. Def pretty cool on the 30 minute down to the 5 minute candles. More my style.

Wade, are there any statistical studies that in a downtrend we should play the third leg of expansion which starts at the top and in a downtrend which starts at the bottom?

There really isn't a specific number. It's best to get positioned above value as soon as you can and then add if you get more expansion legs.

So however many expansion legs you get on the higher time frame determines how many expansion legs it will take to enter a trade on the lower time frame? Not sure if that's what you were saying at a certain point in this video.
@tradeats6 ай бұрын
The amount of expansion legs is determined by the consensus across the higher time frames. If there is no commitment on the higher time frames, there is no one to hold their positions for longer, which keeps price crashing back into the range.
