Propane truck strikes N.Y. railroad bridge and explodes, driver suffers severe burns

I drove a school bus for Niskayuna for several years and this RR bridge was on some of my routes. A full size bus is 8' 6" and JUST squeaks under this particular bridge. This truck was WAY over the minimum height...by like 3 or 4 feet. The driver, naturally, was using his GPS which does NOT necessarily warn drivers of height minimums for all rural bridges. He was not paying attention to signs clearly warning the minimum clearance for trucks. Well. He won't do THAT again.......
