Aloha Daniel from the UK, I have watched your videos because I've considered getting a electric skateboard for over a year and half (give or take). Part of my reinvention of myself and coming out of the shell as a man. Is it possible you could do a video of the best electric skateboards for beginners who want one with the biggest range and speed please? I would find that SO USEFUL. Keep rocking and rolling, David

Thank you for raising the voice against those kg monsters. Even my good old Evolve GT weighs under 8kg and I will never buy a board above that. It's simply unconvenient and impractical. Listen to us, dear manufacturers!

@@mshaftenberg Trick is to live in a city thats small enough to not need subways, stairs kek. No but for real, I desperately hope for advancements in battery tech so instead of 10-15KG it would weigh like.. 3KG max.

I think Daniel’s comments are going to be the next frontier if ESK8. Weight is an issue for many. I love the range of larger 12s4p and 5p boards but choose to commute on a 12s3p due to the lighter weight. Although not too much can be done with the weight coming from batteries, decks, trucks and wheels have lots of room for weight savings.
@fujio001 Жыл бұрын
Personally, I love a wider deck however with width you still need to have the right concave/profile to allow people to know where there feet are. Placing different shape underneath the grip tape is a really good idea and could allow for the concave/profile to be customized to each rider.

When keeping it Real matters in a review, Daniel knocked this ine out the park... i dislike reviews where everything is perfect and they fail to point out the cons, and thats where most reviewers are headed these days. Thanks Danyboy!

That’s why we always send stuff to Daniel. Some other companies told us “He has his favorites and if you aren’t one you can be in trouble” but our approach was “Let’s hear his feedback and try to become a brand he actually will review” instead. He actually turns down a lot of boards made by others. He’s said this before.

Note Daniel’s downhill long boarding stance though. His front foot is more vertical than many riders and closer to a 40 degree angle. For people who ride more so with both of their feet perpendicular to the length of the board then their experiences should vary considerably.

Can you make sure the mention if the board remote charge properly from USB-C -> USB-C cable. There was a recent post on reddit about exway remove not charging with a normal c to c cable This kind of thing is unacceptable in 2023 and would be a dealbreaker when considering a purchase. Can you call it out? It seems like manufacturers will not fix this issue unless some media pressure is put on them

Everything is fine until we get to the REMOTE. This is the only thing that is still keeping me on Evolve boards. Trigger remote is the right direction to go for eskate. Its like people trying to convince me that HEY the ball mouse is great, why the fck do you want a laser mouse? Or like "Wtf you are using a joystick to fly a plane? You need to use a car wheel dummy" Trigger remote is so much more precise and safer to use once you actually use one for a longer period, and the amount of EXTRA FUN it gives to your rides is insane.. So.. whatever the price is.. you cannot beat Evolves because the remotes suck ass on all other eskate companies out there. I dont get why others dont offer a GOOD trigger remote.. atleast as an option. Though all that said for 700EUR brand new this looks like a good buy.. if you count out the built in drivegear.. jeeezus why.. what were they thinking

Our apologies but here is the full context. This happened because you ordered from the Australian discount zone but live in another country. We were very clear that only Australians can order from the Australian discount zone because it’s products housed in Australia. Once we realized you didn’t live in Australia we had to cancel your order. We tried to work something out on the similar product you could order but you wanted only the original at the Australian discount price. Your refund is now pending and will process soon. Thanks for considering us regardless!
