This works until you have high cheek bones, then the stock would be touching your ear protection or pushing them up and off your ear.

I shoot 45-70 np qnd i still find 6.5cm out of my ruger american to be a little spicy!

I don’t see how resting your head (12-15lbs) on the butt of your rifle with inevitably variable muscle tensions is going to help accuracy. Helping you see POI sure - but for smaller groups it doesn’t make sense.

All competitor shooter use a cheek weld man. It’s the only way to have consistent line up with your scope. Think of it like a peep sight on a bow, if you shoot one.
