This helped so much. You have no idea how much I’ve struggled with balance my entire life. I can balance better now at age 53 than I ever could as a young person. There’s a lot of reasons for that. One is that I was going through a tremendous amount of trauma as a young person and while I was an excellent dancer, I just could not stay in balance because I was not internally in balance. I’m much more stable now, and it shows in my physicality. But the other thing is that no one ever TAUGHT ME HOW to balance when I was younger. No ballet teacher ever said anything about counterbalancing the body. No one ever talked about the idea that being one inch too far to the center makes you vulnerable. Your videos and classes are just top rate! Thank you so much!

The difference between being free (to dance) and a slave (to failing) is an inch. It sounds like Eastern philosophy, but how true it is!.👍
