I have never done any thing in a ballet. I am a 75 year old "gym rat" who has engaged in numerous aerobics, yoga, bosu ball and balance workouts. Despite my age I am in relatively good condition. This was indeed one of the tougher (if not toughest) balance exercise workouts I have done. It will take me a long time to master (even with modifications) this routine. This is an excellent balance routine.👍
Not only did the exercises help a lot, but I never thought about how much force and where you're looking. This was great!

This is helping me with my pirouettes immensely! I've had a hard time popping up too fast and was in desperate need of learning a way to control the way up. I loved the last exercise especially being in parallel, its helped my mind grasp how to pop up correctly. Thank you so very much.

I’ve recently got back into dance after a four year break (I moved and couldn’t attend any new studios because they weren’t close enough) and I lost balance and flexibility but I’ve added this to my dance playlist and my balance is going to increase day by day with these. I LOVE calf raises so much lol so that first set was everything

Day 2 - i'm feeling more powerful on my pirouette, but am kinda tired overall. Still going to do the workout though, at least this one video. Promise is a promise.upd: never working out in the evening again. 0 energy. barely did 1 set

Day 3: I'm a fighter damnnn xD Felt sick during the day, but I was mentally ok so squeezed in 2 sets!! While the family watches Cirque du Soleil specials (check them out!!) Huge thanks to Alessia, if not me knowing you're aware of this little challenge, I would've given up even yesterday
@bryce43954 жыл бұрын
Day 4 - easter break! Day 5 - I'm either lazy OR doing this every day isn't actually the greatest decision. Did 1 set today, barely. Idk, I stopped feeling it much, and I'm wobbling through the whole workout:( Plateau? Probably. Verdict: weak upper body and calves. I'm not using my back or my abs, and I'm too weak to hold myself up. Did 1 set today, barely. What I want to do is make an upper body day, a lower body day, and a barre day, with tabata cardio stuck in whenever I feel like it. I will also write down things I'll do just throughout the day randomly, and this workout is one of those. Will I try and do it? Yeah. Big pressure? Nah. I'll go and create my workouts now:)

And that's why I love ballet. Ballet is so beauty. Girly and just amazing. Definitely my favorite dance. I feel so gentle and girly when I put my balerinas and start dancing or doing some exercises and I love it.
@em_dillemma4 жыл бұрын
I agree that ballet is absolutely beautiful, but I personally don’t see ballet as a “girly” sport. The gender of the dancer shouldn’t matter that much compared to the dancer’s skill, technique, and above all, the amount of emotion put into dance. Dance is for anyone, no matter the age, gender, or personality of that person, and that’s one of the reasons I love it. It’s such a diverse art and I think it’s really cool. Just my thoughts on the matter, have a good day :)
