great job on the Tuning Josh. the fletching Drag has to be greater than the broadhead drag. I caint imagine doing 6 vanes but you obviously found the sweet spot. lots of great information here.

The lighter pound limbs is killer information. You basically told me to buy a beater 50-60lb bow, tune and dedicate it to turkey lobbin- which makes up a thousandth of my shooting. Im not touching a perfectly dialed in bow to lob turkeys- then have to start all over dialing my bow back into archery from lobbery😂

After dropping the weight on your bow to 55-60 you're tuning the rest correct? Also, how the heck did you get 6 fletching done? Bitzenburger?

drewanderson502 I bought a no name jig on amazon for about 20$ I think (looks like a carter jig) and it fletches 3,4,and 6 vanes.if not wanting to go that route you can nock index on the 3 fletch setting. Do 3, then turn the nock for the next 3 to fit between. The second set is going to have to come out of the nock clip every time before you spin the arrow to the next one. (Unless you want to wait for your glue set up good and hard.) both ways work. I like the cheapo amazon jig with all the settings cuz I like playing around with my patterns but the second way Is free!

You can do it with any good jig, do the first three then take the arrow out of the nock holder and turn it 180°, nock it and repeat the gluing process.

I get that its a giant broadhead and it probably wont get that far but you shouldnt be shooting an arrow thats going 200+ fps at a pillow with a busy road directly down range

U think a bow is like a rifle and will go 100 yards without dropping any? What would be the point of changing the distance your bow is sighted in at if your same point of aim at 35 yards would make it to 100 ?

Did anyone notice his target area with the backstop? All the trees in that area between the pillow and the road, and also how many cars were heard or seen? He stays safe when practicing and took a perfectly placed shot as an example, in front of a low traffic rd which was 100yds from the pillow and strewn with tons of trees between. He’s obviously skilled and was confident he wasn’t going to air one into an open window of an on coming car through a mass amount of trees 100 yards away. I’m willing to bet he can also hear when a car Is coming and could let it pass if he’d like. It was ONE perfect shot. Very low risk compared to actually driving down a winding country road. Shit don’t put pants on tomorrow because you “might” fall and snap your brain stem on the corner of your nightstand. I mean cmon! Safety first! Smdh
