As John when I went to Guarma I left way faster by replaying any mission, then you quit the mission and respawn on the main map.

If you get stuck in Guarma (keep getting instantly killed by the invisible sniper), just go re-do any mission and you should respawn near the Lannahechee River in America.

You'd think by now they'd patch the map once and for all. Open Tempest Rim and create a mountain town. Bridge to Mexico and make the fort working and simple railway. And a road bridge to the prison both to the west and east. Finally, patch the ticket to Guarma and allow to travel via boat to there. 1000s of players spent 10s of thousands hours plotting on foot all these paths. Just let us have fun since they've essentially abandoned the game last year to milk GTAV some more. You know because THREE GENERATIONS of consoles ain't enough attention!

Comming back from Gaurma i went all the way around near Strawberry and slid back into the map with my Donkey and kept the Donkey as my temp horse, takes a long time though.

There is a way to avoid the invisible sniper's shoots. It is the only way without any cheat. You must kill a pig and take it on your shoulder. The sniper shoots the pig and not John's head. Simply, you have to walk and have the camera turned so as John's head is not visible. I discovered this by chance.

@@Richardkitts1914 In the mission with the sugar warehouse, when Dutch tells you to wait outside you just jump over the wall and go back to the main map, no sniper, takes a long time though and not much happening on the main map. you can go all round Blackwater but the law is after you and the sniper is still there if you try to get into New Austin.

@@Richardkitts1914 On the main map everything is closed, its foggy and raining , there are npcs some on horses, you can steal on horse and go in say valentine bar but nothing is happening, no barman, you have no money and you can not sell anything because everything is shut. If you go to Guarma as Arthur before he goes there in story mode you have no sniper so you can explore with no worries.

I went back to guarma with john there i shot a bird near the village immediately the guards attacked me and the invisible sniper got triggered and then i got stuck in guarma ,after several attempts to escape and getting killed finally i exited the game ,when i entered the game again i was on the other side of the river south of Rhodes

I noticed anytime you get lawmen on you in Guarma then snipers will start shooting. Need to avoid the lawmen.

I think originally the boats weren't supposed to sink... but then they weren't able to finish Mexico, so they came up with that to stop us getting there. There are boundaries that slide you back into the playable area all around the outer side of the map.

I went to guarma in chapter 3 and filled my compendium and got the green turtle and right now I just loaded up the game and this video and I spawned in lemoyne so I didn't do any work to get back

Figure it'd just be easier to make a save while you're in the main map and a save for guarma when you're there so then if you want to leave it, it's easy and as easy to get back in there as well. Of course if you want to keep some stuff from Guarma that's another issue then

went to Guarma ch 4, made two saves, I did trigger the sniper by accident, dont annoy the guards, went back to the other save and carried on, I used this method to leave with my compendium filled...

I actually didn't need to do that, because the last time I got sniped in Guarma, I just powered down the XBox immediately and the next day when I turned it on, John spawned at his ranch. But if I try to get him back to Guarma again to get a few more animals for the compendium, I'll try that trick to get out.

Nah, unfortunately the only way to Guarma without cheats is going around New Austin after glitching out of bounds. If you take a boat across the lake at St.Denis the boat will sink and you'll respawn in St.Denis.

Doesn’t work with the donkey I get sniped and killed - I’ve been carrying a pig carcass for almost an hour which has been shielding me from the constant sniper fire! Not sure where to walk as I cannot move the camera to see where I’m going or the sniper will shoot me! The terrain is getting rough about halfway north to the end of the map! I cannot believe the sniper is still shooting at me this far from the main area! Guarma is cursed!!!!!! Update: Replayed the fishing mission with Jack and afterwards I was returned to the Lannahechee River near the shoreline by Catfish Jacksons. What a relief!

In a different video he shows how to get there and not trigger the invisible sniper. If the sniper is active when you get there, something is wrong.
