Property Donation | Giving a Legacy

Wendy generously donated her 25 acre ranch in Colorado​ to Horse Plus. Her generous donation allowed Horse Plus Humane Society to build an on-site veterinarian hospital in Tennessee and hire veterinarians to help hundreds of horses and other animals who would not otherwise receive top quality medical attention. In addition a portion of the sale of the donated property went to help horses in her home state of Colorado.
Donating real estate, such as a home, vacation property, undeveloped land, farmland, ranch or commercial property can make a great gift to Horse Plus Foundation.

How to Make a Gift of Real Estate
Your property may be given to Horse Plus Foundation by executing or signing a deed transferring ownership. You may deed part or all of your property to ​Horse Plus Foundation. Your gift will generally be based on the property's fair market value, which must be established by an independent appraisal. We can assist you with the appraisal process so you don't have to worry about it.

Three years ago, I decided due to my age and lack of use of my last three horses to find them excellent homes which I did (2 of them went together to a family who’s father is a veterinarian - can’t get much better than that) and sell the rest of my horse stuff. A lot didn’t sell. Horse Plus is within driving distance for me so I packed up the rest of my stuff in the back of my truck and gave all that stuff a good home. I’m glad to have been a part even if not huge but glad I could help. Love what you’re doing. Keep it up ! ❤❤❤

I am just so thrilled to see how Horse Plus has grown over the last several years! Having worked in the non-profit field for a long time, I know how challenging growth can be. I don't know if it is how you are making the videos vs reality, but it sure seems like Dr. Lydia and Dr. Gina are super busy every single day! Thank you Wendy.. your legacy is seeing how the ability to have 2 full time vets at Horse Plus has helped all of the animals..they get treatment straight away if they have a temperature ir a wound ir they've had an accident..its easier for daily wound care and the animals are recuperating much quicker by the daily care than previous weekly visits..what you did was amazing Wendy and with such foresight as you knew how Tawnee and Jason would use your gift to help the animals..God Bless You..a very special lady..🇬🇧💕✝️👏👍🙏🇺🇸
